About The Hotel

The Travelodge by Wyndham Lincoln is a budget motel on US Route 3 with a concerning 1.8 rating from 61 reviews. Starting at $72/night, it is the cheapest Lincoln option, but reviews cite serious cleanliness and odor complaints, water damage, mold, stained furniture, and poor upkeep. The property is outdated and musty-smelling; guests report noises from other rooms and inconsistent housekeeping. The pool is locked and requires staff to unlock it. Breakfast is minimal (cereal and bagels). This property is suitable only for the most budget-conscious travelers willing to inspect the room first. The Days Inn or Holiday Inn Express are far better choices.

What Guests Are Saying

“The proprietors were nice, but the accommodations themselves were not good. The motel was very old and extremely outdated. There were huge stains on the chairs in the room. There was a noticeable smell in the hallway outside of the room, the kind of smell one might consider to be an attempt to cover up some other smell. There was also a smell in the room. We were desperate to hike in the Whites that holiday weekend and were willing to pay $300 to stay somewhere and get up early to hike. Knowing now what it was like, we’d have been much better off to pay more and stay somewhere that was clean and up-to-date.” — Ellen R., 2 stars

“We were disappointed with our stay here. While the location was convenient and staff was friend and the beds were comfortable, we would not stay here again. The configuration of the beds were strange, facing a window that looked out into the hall. There were soft spots in several area of the floor, with a crack in the bathroom floor. The noises coming from the upstairs sounded like there was a dance party going on upstairs. Despite the fact that there was an envelope for tips, there was no housekeeping service, so nothing was restocked. The towels and bath mat were very stained. Breakfast was essentially some cereal and bagels. We were in the area for an event with stays at other hotels being limited.” — Gabrielle M., 2 stars

“Not satisfied with this INN with Wyndham name attached to the name. First thing when you walk in to check in there’s nobody there except an older gentleman watching TV that says hello. Get up walks outside. dial the phone to get someone to come in the front desk Receptionist is nice. First thing that it should be mentioned is that this hotel SMELLS very bad. You smell incense, you smell curry, you smell mold. The pool is across the parking lot. Pool is locked. You have to wait for the receptionist to unlock the pool. There is a lot of cracks. There’s moldy and dirty vents. There’s dirt all over the walls. There’s a boards on the ceiling. The pool is cold not a heated pool at all. The rooms are a decent size very old fashion Motel Bates feel. The beds are horrible to sleep on not comfortable at all. There is water damage on the ceiling and it looks like it’s been patched up. The bathroom is decent but not very clean at all. I would make sure you have slippers on because the rug look like it’s hasn’t been vacuumed or cleaned. Remote control is taped up. The remote control to the AC does not work. Not a basic ice machine you have to lift the cover and be halfway inside the machine in order to get the ice Hardly any ice. There idea of a breakfast is cereal and coffee that’s it. This INN to have Wyndham attached to. It is not worth the price” — Waleska V., 1 star

"The staff here have been amazing. Whatever they are paid; is not enough for dealing with idiots like me. Booked the wrong day and didn't realize it until the lady at the front desk was calling me. Helped me change the date and was so kind over the phone. We were then super late for check in due to accidently leaving my back pack behind at a trail head. The lady at the front desk was so kind and understanding and stayed late so we could check in. The rooms are very nice for the price and there is an indoor pool. Room was clean and had a working TV, mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot. They do breakfast in the morning and the parking lot was well maintained even with the fresh snow."
