Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Portland
"Rock-bottom budget hotel with pool, hot tubs, and a live-music bar — but very uneven; inspect your room on arrival for cleanliness."
About The Hotel
From $100/night — rock-bottom Portland pricing. This is a budget 3.8 hotel near I-95 with a pool, hot tubs, and a popular on-site restaurant — but reviews are very uneven. Recent guests range from happy regulars to serious cleanliness complaints. Good for budget travelers and groups who want a pool, hot tubs, and live-music bar on site, and who book with eyes open and inspect the room on arrival. On-site dining (Stacks for breakfast, the bar for drinks) is a draw for repeat guests. The location on Riverside Street is about 20 minutes from downtown by car, making it essential to have wheels.
What Guests Are Saying
“We stay here every time we go to Portland. Their onsite bar is pretty cool. They serve food but I’ve never eaten there. Just for drinks and entertainment. Bar is closed on Sundays. They also have Stacks which serves breakfast fro 6am to 2pm daily. Stacks is awesome! The area is loaded with many restaurants. U era are quick to get and cost effective. Clean room, ok beds…love their hut tubs and pool. 2nd & 3rd floors have balconies.” — Dee L., 5 stars
“Location is good. Rooms dated but clean and comfortable. The Highlight for our group was the restaurant and bar located in the hotel. Great food, excellent service and Live Music. We throughly enjoyed our stay. We are from Kansas City and we found the locals to be so welcoming and friendly 😊🙏” — Kaycee G., 5 stars
“We spent three comfortable nights in this large, rambling hotel about 20 minutes from downtown. Large rooms, good beds, lots of nearby (by car) shopping and food outlets and good highway access. Nice adjoining breakfast/lunch restaurant (Stacks).” — Fastenyourbelt, 5 stars

What guests are saying about Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Portland.
"We stayed at the Ramada Inn in South Portland, Maine for a quick 2-day family vacation, and it was absolutely wonderful! Traveling with kids, we were especially excited about the pool—and it did not disappoint. The pool was clean, spacious, and perfect for family fun, and the two hot tubs were a huge bonus for relaxing after a long day. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the whole place had a very welcoming feel. Every staff member we encountered was kind, friendly, and helpful, which made our stay that much better. And let me just say—the coffee in the morning was delicious and piping hot, just what we needed to start the day right. Highly recommend this location for anyone visiting the area, especially families. We’ll definitely be back!"

View on Google"Just off of I-95, which means there's a little bit of a drive to get to the main attraction in this area, i.e. the Fort Williams Park with it's light houses and Atlantic Ocean vistas. However, that minus turns into a plus when considering the room prices compared accomodations closer in. Otherwise, we found the accommodations to be excellent. Clean rooms, sufficient packing, lots of dining choices nearby, etc. I'd stay here again."
