The staff was hospitable, the interior very attractive and the halls and walls were filled with lovely works of art by Maine artists. The rooms were very well maintained and roomy. The Maine Evergreen Hotel is an excellent place to stop on any night!” — Barbara T., 5 stars
“This a great hotel in Augusta. Rooms were clean and well decorated, bed was comfortable and the TV channels available were numerous. The Hearthside room was used as a bar with munchies at night from 4-10, and was also used as the breakfast nook for the complimentary breakfast 6:30-9. Nicole and Nancy were great bartenders, very welcoming and engaged in conversation. Breakfast had a good selection of items from to eggs, sausage, home fries, cereal, pastries, and fruit. The atmosphere in the hearthside is typical of Maine with beautiful wooden tables and comfortable chairs.” — Sue W., 5 stars
“Highly recommend this hotel! Fresh, modern, and beautifully appointed lobby with artwork by local artists. Staff were extremely accomodating and friendly. Rooms are extremely clean and tastefully appointed and quiet. Noise was not an issue. Full, hot breakfast provided in dining room. Will definitely stay again when in the area!” — Elaine C., 5 stars

What guests are saying about Maine Evergreen Hotel.
"The rooms are updated in such a beautiful and peaceful way. Everything is clean and well kept. The staff are all friendly and helpful. You can hear the highway a bit as well as the music downstairs but it all calms down at a reasonable hour. The lobby is full of beautiful, healthy, happy plants. The coffee and free breakfast is yummy. We didn't go in the pool but it does exist along with a nice outdoor seating area. The dining rooms are well decorated, well furnished and very cozy feeling. If we're ever back up in this neck of the woods, we will definitely be staying here again!"

Our room had comfy and spacious beds, a water fountain, mini fridge, microwave and plenty of space. The lobby has complimentary tea and coffee; we really enjoyed the artisanal coffee from a local roastery. We’ll definitely be back!"
