What Guests Are Saying
“This was the first time staying at the Portland Harbor Hotel. We went up to visit family living close by and decided to stay in Portland. This hotel did not disappoint. We were warmly greeted by the Valet and bell staff who took excellent care of our car. Check in was quite easy. We were traveling with my sister and Devin gave us rooms next to each other. My husband and I had a junior suite overlooking the courtyard. The room was well appointed with a sofa and 2 chairs and a separate bedroom with a king sized bed. There was a soaking tub and separate shower in the bathroom and nice big fluffy towels. Devin checked in with us through texts to make sure everything was good. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant and were very pleased. Valet service was very prompt when we needed the car. Check out was smooth. The location was fabulous. We were one block from the waterfront and right in the middle of the old port. Although it was too cold the courtyard looked like a wonderful spot to have breakfast or dinner in the warmer weather. I can’t say enough about this hotel. We will be coming back” — Suzanne W., 5 stars
“My wife and I visited Portland, Maine for the very first time, staying at the Portland Harbor Hotel, and it has been excellent! Great location in the center of the action and walking distance to tons of great bars, restaurants, shops, and the harbor area. The service in the hotel has been top notch and a special shout out to Adam who has been so friendly and fun every time we see him, and he has given us so many wonderful recommendations of places to see and restaurants to visit in the area which has really helped us have a great stay. Highly recommend this hotel and definitely ask for Adam if you need anything!” — Dustin F., 5 stars
“We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend, othet than the weather, lol! Staff were all amazing and more than accommodating. Thoroughly enjoyed the heated seat warmers at the firepit, too! Would definitely come again for the girls weekend package, very reasonable, and great perks!” — jilma3, 5 stars

"Perfect stay in Portland! The location couldn’t have been better — incredibly convenient and walkable to everything we wanted to do. The hotel itself was comfortable and welcoming, but what really stood out was the service. View on Google"First time visiting Maine and Portland Harbor Hotel absolutely added to the wonderful experience. Lovely clean and spacious rooms, very nice bathrooms, and amazing staff that checked in on us and made sure we were comfortable. Adam at the front desk was especially excellent. Next time we are in Portland we will stay here without question. The terrace is just as beautiful and enjoyable as it looks on the web. It was a huge draw for us and we really enjoyed staying warm by the fire and under the heaters. We didn’t eat at the bistro but it had lots of delicious looking options and a great bar. The location could not be better as well. Awesome local spots on the block Nextdoor. I also loved the lobby. I would intentionally take the elevator to the lobby and then walk down the staircase to the street level even though the elevator goes there directly. Valet staff were great too. Absolutely recommend the Portland harbor hotel. The people here act like they are excited to have you stay and be comfortable, versus some hotels that just treat you like another reservation. Also the lighting in the room is much warmer, that’s just my camera."

The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Portland, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with little touches that made it feel special. The restaurant and bar on-site were excellent as well—delicious food and a great atmosphere to wind down in the evening. What stood out the most was the level of service—friendly, attentive, and genuine. Every interaction felt like they truly cared about making my stay perfect. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend the Portland Harbour Hotel to anyone visiting the area!"
