Fireside Inn & Suites Portland
"Budget motel near the Jetport with gas-fireplace rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, and genuinely good value for early flights and road-trippers."
About The Hotel
From $107/night — one of Portland’s cheapest stays. This is a budget 3.5 motel near the Jetport: dated but functional, with a pool and fireplace rooms offering honest value over polish. Good for road-trippers and early-flight guests who want free parking and a no-fuss stay. Cleanliness and service both earned solid marks (3.7 and 3.9), and regulars consistently praise the staff and fireplace upgrades. The location on Riverside Street is about 15–20 minutes from downtown, so you’ll drive into the Old Port rather than walk — but you’ll pay half what the waterfront hotels charge.
What Guests Are Saying
“This is my go to when flying out early from Portland Jetport. This motel is very clean and well maintained. I booked direct and it was only $83. They were most appreciative and upgraded to a room with a gas fireplace . Nice touch. I have not gone swimming in either the indoor or outdoor pools. They used to have a restaurant pre Covid. I haven’t tried breakfast since my flights are very early. Nice Mexican restaurant across the street. Great value,” — eywphm, 5 stars
“The location is a plus. Lots of restaurants near by. However, due to the cold we used delivery. The room we were in was spotless. It had a new carpet and a gas fireplace. The lobby has a nice fireplace to enjoy. The people at the front desk were very helpful. They went out of their way to assist me. We were here for an event and the event room was well lighted and roomy. One door that led to a storage area was a little drafty, but did not affect me. The price was excellent for January.” — Cats, 5 stars
“It was my third stay at the Fireside Inn and Suites in two years. This place is perfect for me. I love the beautiful outdoor pool (!), the many amenities—gym, sauna, pretty grounds outside, proximity to Portland, hot coffee and tea round the clock (as well coffee machines in room), fridge and microwave, affordable prices during the week. The staff are all EXCELLENT—friendly and helpful. Will come back again and again.” — chan7777, 5 stars

What guests are saying about Fireside Inn & Suites Portland.
"It’s not the Hilton, but it’s affordable. The rooms are always clean. They’re a little outdated but when you walk through the front door, you get that classic inviting feeling with the fireplace going the staff is pretty friendly. Kevin’s a good guy. I stay here a lot with Work, but I’ve never been disappointed."

No one yelling down the hallway or anyone partying in the parking lot, like some other places we've stayed. The place is huge. I absolutely loved our stay"

View on Google"My stay at the Fireside Inn & Suites Portland was very pleasant. The front desk and other support staff were impressively friendly and helpful. The room was quiet and clean, the bed was comfortable, the TV was huge, the AC was cold, and the Keurig coffee was good. The bathroom was small and somewhat tight, but the shower was hot, with good water pressure, and the towels were of good quality. The hotel provided a nice "grab and go" breakfast, with a choice of two heat & eat biscuit sandwiches (bacon or sausage/egg/cheese), plus a selection of fruit & grain bars, muffins, fruit cups and coffee. The hotel is in a good location, with a nearby grocery store and several restaurants. The airport is about 10 minutes away. I would stay at the Fireside Inn again."
