What Guests Are Saying

“Beautiful old hotel nicely updated. The grounds were lovely! Easy walk into town. The salmon and haddock dinners in the restaurant were delicious. Cozy sitting room area and pleasant staff. We would definitely stay here again.” — jack5400, 5 stars

“We had a very nice stay while celebrating a birthday with friends. The rooms were good sized, the grounds were beautiful, the continental breakfast was great and the weather cooperated so we could gather outside for our own happy hour on the property behind the Inn. We also enjoyed a nice dinner in the dining room that accommodated our group of 9 nicely.” — r0binh, 5 stars

“The rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool was quiet and well kept. The complimentary breakfast was mostly pastries and carbs, but included Whoopie pies so all is forgiven. We opted to pay extra for eggs and bacon ;) the location and parking was ideal for the busy downtown and the tea time and fire pit suited us perfectly.” — Wanda C., 5 stars

"We stayed in the townhouses with our 3 young children. It was not fancy but great for our young children (I was not nervous they would break anything) and the price can’t be beat! The waitstaff at breakfast was patient and superb! The location was great! Walkable to town but not right in the middle of town. The pool was simple but again perfect for our young kids."

"The property is very appealing. The service is excellent. The breakfast spread was lovely with a lot of very nice options. Nice extra touches included the afternoon tea and makings for s’mores for the evening bonfire. We had some weirdness related to our reservation through Booking.com but the front desk staff were very accommodating and got it all sorted out for us. We will return!"

"The Inn and restaurant are top notch overall. The afternoon “tea” actually puts out a nice spread of cakes, cookies, cheese/crackers, fruit, etc. The food at their restaurant is excellent. We had the salmon and pork chops - terrific. The staff is very friendly, and the free breakfast is one of the best we’ve had. Their heated pool is great for a lap swim. The rooms are a little cramped but comfy. No room in the bathroom for your kits and no suitcase stand in the room. We had to put one on the only chair and the other on a table. Overall a classy and comfy place to stay."
