“Our stay at the Acadia Inn was amazing. Every person we interacted with was so kind and accommodating, the employees really made our trip great. We looked forward to afternoon charcuterie and evening s’mores and building our own trail mix before heading out to hike. The location was ideal. It was away from town so it was quiet, but close enough so we could walk in to the shops and restaurants on a nice day (about a mile of paved sidewalk). It also had convenient access to the national park. There were so many thoughtful touches, we will stay here any time we are in the area. “A short walk to Bar Harbor, the Acadia Inn was perfect. Room was large enough for a family of four with comfortable beds. Breakfast was included as were s’mores and trail mix which was enjoyed by children and adults. Add to that a very welcoming staff and it was a great place to stay while visiting Acadia. “Me, my wife and my son stayed for 3 nights, we loved everything, staff welcoming and polite, concerned to help always, breakfast well varied, blueberry at will, strawberries, pancakes, chia pudding, hot coffee with hazelnut syrup, breads, eggs, cheese omelette, juices, everything at will and complete! The hotel has water and ice from the eagle lake and you can fill the will! It is close to the center, 5 min drive and far enough for a quiet night! Free parking and no fees! We don’t use the pool! Hot shower and bathtub in the room, the amenities are very good! Our room was cleaned every day by gleidizi!! All perfect, I definitely recommend” — Guilherme, 5 stars

"Really enjoyed staying here for four days on our Acadia vacation. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Especially nice was the afternoon charcuterie and cookies every day and the "make your own trail mix" station. These were lovely touches which made our stay even nicer. The hotel is in a great location and it and the surrounding property are super clean and nice. We loved it and would stay here again!"

View on Google"So happy we found this hotel. Rooms were nice. Everything was very clean, and the little extra touches were very welcomed. The cookies, the make your own trailmix to take hiking, the hot apple cider, smores by the campfire....yum! The staff were friendly and the entire hotel was very welcoming. And as an added bonus, bus service is available to pick you up and take you into Bar Harbor and back, and the hotel is less than 2 miles from Acadia National Park entrance. We stayed 3 days, but would have enjoyed staying longer."

View on Google"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Acadia Inn and highly recommend it. It’s located just outside the town limits, but The Island Explorer picks up guests twice each hour to shuttle them into town. We also enjoyed walking into town from the inn, which is a 15 minute stroll. Breakfast was good, with many choices, and there was a gluten free station. The hotel had many amenities. We enjoyed playing (and winning prizes) at Bingo. There was a S’mores night, and one morning the staff was making trail mix for hikers and whale watchers. The room was clean and comfortable. What we truly appreciated was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was positive and friendly. Most importantly, on our last day there, our ride to the airport did not show up. When we told the ladies at the front desk, rather than giving us a list of transportation services to try, both immediately began calling around to find a ride for us. We were able to make our flight home on time because of them. We also observed them helping guests with a whale watch. The staff was above and beyond in providing services to guests! We would most definitely stay at the Acadia Inn again!"
