"Very nice stay!! Beautiful rooms, prime location, super easy to checkin/out, parking was not an issue at all there are plenty of spaces nearby and the fresh market across the street was a bonus! Chris was very accommodating after our other plans were cancelled short notice. Will definitely be back"

Grenoble House was perfect for a quiet stay in New Orleans just steps away from Canal, street car, Bourbon St, all the things! We enjoyed the 24 hr hot tub after a day of walking. The bed was very comfortable. Perfect stay! We will return to the Grenoble House!"

"Grenoble House is going up be our go-to place whenever we travel to New Orleans. How wonderful to have basically an apartment with kitchen, living room, and bedroom. Just a block from Bourbon but removed for quiet and solitude. We were in hot tub daily plus pool. Loved the staff and their kindness. Kudos all around."

"Living in New Orleans we do not have an opportunity to visit the hotels of the area very often. We met friends who were staying here and from their recommendation, the appearance and speaking with the staff, this is a great vintage hotel to stay. It is right on the streetcar lines so is convenient and is adjacent to Audubon Park. A beautiful historic hotel."

Tub types, explained

What's the difference between a jacuzzi, whirlpool, and soaking tub?

Jacuzzi

Technically a brand name, but used generically for any jetted tub. In hotel listings, "jacuzzi suite" almost always means a private in-room tub with built-in air or water jets. Heat is usually preset; jets are user-controlled.

Whirlpool

Functionally identical to a jacuzzi — water jets circulate heated water for a massage effect. The term is more common at Marriott, Hilton, and Wyndham brands. Most "whirlpool suites" hold two adults comfortably.

Soaking tub

Deeper than a standard bathtub, usually 18–22 inches, but with no jets. Common in boutique and luxury hotels — quieter, more spa-like, and better for a long hot soak than the jet-driven hum of a jacuzzi.

Hot tub

In strict use, a standalone heated tub holding 100°F+ water. In hotel marketing, often used interchangeably with jacuzzi or whirlpool. A genuine in-room "hot tub" with full thermostat control is rare outside cabin-style resorts.
