"We loved this place. Stayed for a wedding and coincidentally it was also the meat pie festival. The rooms are comfortable. The location is terrific (was 2 blocks from the church where the wedding would be and a few blocks from the river). Cherri, who prepares the breakfasts is awesome. Friendly, kind and an excellent cook. Would highly recommend."

"Great experience in Natchitoches. The room was clean and quiet, free wifi with a small coffee service in the room. The foyer was beautifully decorated for Christmas with the dining area perfectly prepared for breakfast service. Loves our stay!"

"We had a beautiful room, well-appointed with antique furnishings. The common areas were equally inviting. Veronique served a gourmet breakfast that included an excellent quiche. She was also most informative about what to see and do in Natchitoches. The rear parking is very convenient."

What's the difference between a jacuzzi, whirlpool, and soaking tub?

Jacuzzi

Technically a brand name, but used generically for any jetted tub. In hotel listings, "jacuzzi suite" almost always means a private in-room tub with built-in air or water jets. Heat is usually preset; jets are user-controlled.

Whirlpool

Functionally identical to a jacuzzi — water jets circulate heated water for a massage effect. The term is more common at Marriott, Hilton, and Wyndham brands. Most "whirlpool suites" hold two adults comfortably.

Soaking tub

Deeper than a standard bathtub, usually 18–22 inches, but with no jets. Common in boutique and luxury hotels — quieter, more spa-like, and better for a long hot soak than the jet-driven hum of a jacuzzi.

Hot tub

In strict use, a standalone heated tub holding 100°F+ water. In hotel marketing, often used interchangeably with jacuzzi or whirlpool. A genuine in-room "hot tub" with full thermostat control is rare outside cabin-style resorts.
