About The Hotel

Hotel Nashville is a 3.2-rated (147 reviews) downtown motel at 245 N Jefferson St — with a pool, shared hot tub listed among amenities, free parking, and multi-room ‘apartment-style’ units cited in one 5-star as blowing expectations away. But candid recent flags dominate: ‘the room reeked of cigarette smoke,’ 2 empty beer cans on the balcony, very dated worn rooms, and a $20 fee to change smoky rooms per one reviewer. Subratings run 3.2–3.6 across cleanliness, rooms and service. A downtown location pick with a shared hot tub — book only if the price and location are the priority and expectations are set.

What Guests Are Saying

“Got this place at a fairly cheap price so did not have high expectations. However it blew away my expectations. Booked a 2 king room but when we got there it was more like an apartment. 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, balcony overlooking Nashville. The place was clean, updated, and cozy with a restaurant onsite. The beds were really firm. The bathrooms had soap dispensers however the one was out of soap. There seemed to be sufficient parking. There is a pool, we did not use, I assume it’s indoor since she said it would be open in the morning and it’s November. Cons: it’s kind of hard to find the entrance especially at night. The office is not 24 hours. It was very nice and I will be keeping this place in mind when I come back again.” — Andy P., 5 stars

“We loved our stay at Hotel Nashville. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. In addition to the bedroom with bath there was a second bath, living room with Murphy bed, dining area and small kitchen with refrigerator, stove but no oven, microwave and toaster. The coffee pot is hotel sized. The kitchen was not fully equipped, so if you plan to cook bring pots and pans, dishes, etc. it is an easy walk into the quaint town of Nashville. The staff was courteous, friendly and helpful. A nice surprise was the large outdoor covered gazebo where we enjoyed playing cards. The price was very reasonable.” — Donna R., 5 stars

“We stayed on a Thursday & Friday night - it was IU Graduation and Mother’s day week-end. We had something in Indi on Wed. nite and had to return for a Saturday party so wife suggested trying Little Nashville. We called and check several hotels and all were filled up. One hotel suggested calling the Nashville Inn and we lucked out and they had an opening. I presume bookings were Friday and Saturday for that week-end so our Thursday and Friday bookings wouldn’t work for majority of hotels we checked. We called and Nashville Inn had a cancellation which we took. It was $250/night which seemed a little high but the week-end and last 2 years of Covid probably was hard on busy. The location of the hotel is great being on north end of main business area - everything is pretty much in walking distance. We pulled in and checked in and it was very smooth. The room we had was 136, Each room had its own numbered space with several free to all. There are two parking lots one on top half of facility - several buildings and other on bottom half. Our room parking was on bottom half which entailed climbing 2 sets of stair to get on ground floor and the climbing another 3 sets to our room. The bottom half has another 3 or 4 set of stairs to the street level. When visiting the business district and climbing as many as 10 sets of stairs can be a work out. The room was very nice and clean. It had a complete kitchen, dishes, cook wear etc. There was a full bath and a half bath which adjoined the king size bedroom. There was a living room with couch and recliner and table with 4 chairs. There was a TV in Living room (could have been bigger we are used to 43 inch) and TV in bedroom. The couch folded out into double bed. The view off the balcony was pretty. We didn’t have maid service but did have them replace the empty soap/body wash in the shower. First day I ran out of hot water and tub was slow drain. All fixed immediately. We didn’t use pool but it looked well maintained and there were some outside courtyard areas which you could party under a gazebo with chairs and tables. They no longer offer a lounge, breakfast or meals - Covid probably did them in as well as getting help. Overall nice place where you could make some meals - food was expensive in Nashville with $40 for two not unusual. May not be place for handicapped accesible nor if you don’t like stairs since we saw no elevators.” — Jo_and_Tom, 4 stars

"My husband and I booked a king suite for a last minute weekend getaway and it was PERFECT!! The room itself was a bit dated looking but gave the place some character and cozy feeling. It was giving cozy cabin honestly. The hotel appears to be an old apartment complex so it’s more like that than a motel or hotel. The jacuzzi tub was so relaxing and the suite was HUGE with a full kitchen (sink, range, fridge, coffee pot). The bed was super comfortable as well. There are no elevators and many stairs inside and outside so if you need an accessible stay, this is not that. The staff was super nice and helpful and the hotel is walking distance from downtown and all it has to offer! My husband and I even wandered into the bar located above the lobby and were met with the nicest and most hospitable locals! We will be coming back to stay again soon!!!"
