“We have stayed at the Cornerstone Inn several times over the years. We went midweek this time and stayed 2 nights in an upper unit of the Cane Ridge building. The unit has a king bed, antique furnishings, large bathroom with whirlpool tub and shower, microwave, fridge with freezer, fireplace (not needed in July!) and screened porch overlooking the landscaped courtyard with a gazebo. The Cornerstone no longer serves a breakfast, so a short walk to a restaurant took care of that. As noted in their listings, the upper units are reached by an interior stairway, no elevator. The location is nice and quiet but just a couple blocks from the main street. The TV has a lot of channels, but it uses a streaming service and the internet speed was not sufficient to prevent a lot of annoying buffering. Staff seems to really care, and they appreciate the heritage of the property. Covid has closed or modified a few of the restaurants we liked, and things in Nashville empty out pretty fast when the stores are closed. We can recommend the Hobnob Corner Restaurant near the Cornerstone and the Harvest Dining Room at the Brown County Inn, a short drive. The Farmhouse Cafe near Bean Blossom is not serving dinners now but the lunches are good.” — Marty B., 5 stars
“Loving Nashville and wanting to spend our annual visit (celebrating a birthday and wedding anniversary), we decided to try the Cornerstone Inn and we are glad we did. First of all, when we checked in, they had a customized birthday and anniversary sign hanging up on the wall to help us celebrate. The lovely lady that greeted us gave us a complete introduction to the Inn and told us up front pretty much everything we wanted to know. We stayed in Room 8 in the main building and it was larger than what we were used to in previous accommodations elsewhere. It was clean and set up nicely for relaxation, tv viewing, and getting ready for our many eating and shopping excursions. Pricing was reasonable and accessibility to the downtown area was perfect. “This is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Nashville, Indiana. We never used our car all weekend. We had a very nice room with a king bed. All the furniture matched and was antique. The rooms are immaculate. Super clean. We stayed in Cane Ridge and parked right by the front door. The place is very well maintained and the owners take pride in the grounds which were beautiful. There is also a nice little screened in porch with just enough for two to enjoy the view. Shops are all around. Everything is in walking distance. We enjoyed everything, but the mattresses were a bit too soft for our backs. Thanks for a great weekend.” — Martha11255, 5 stars

"We stayed in the Shiloh 1 cottage of the Cornerstone Inn complex. It was a very clean and comfortable room with a king bed, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, and single-serve pods for coffee pot. It also has a fireplace, a front porch with 2 chairs and a screened porch with a ceiling fan off the back end of the room. The lobby in the main building has a coffee maker and a selection of teas for guests. Although there is no daily room service, additional towels, coffees, etc can be picked up at the lobby desk. The quiet and peaceful grounds have walking paths, gazebos, swings, and even a picnic area with a fire pit and picnic table. Is makes it perfect for just enjoying the flowers or relaxing on one of the porches with a picnic lunch and refreshments! It is quiet and peaceful without the loud and crowded hustle and bustle of a busy tourist town. Another big plus is that this hotel has quality toilet paper and Kleenex, which is not the case in many hotels! Because of this hotel’s central location and comfortable room, we will definitely stay here again!"

View on Google"We didn't get to stay here after our reservation. The hotel manager was kind and helpful. A severe storm came through the night before our arrival date. The power was out for over 3000 in the area. She called from her own phone from the hotel without power and let us know all the facts about the situation. We decided it would be best to change our plans. She made our comfort and safety a priority over profit. We will definitely book a stay here in the future. Top notch customer service."

View on Google"The room was extremely clean and had everything we needed. I appreciated having a smart TV as the town tends to close down around 9-10pm. The front desk was extremely helpful. The location was excellent. The shops are all within easy walking distance. There are 2 coffee shops within a 1-2 minute walk. I would definitely come back!"
