What Guests Are Saying
“This was a great location and beautiful home. We went to a show at the Derby Dinner Playhouse (DDP) and stayed here for the night. It was only 1 mile away from the DDP and a super-easy drive. The next day was a flight out of the Louisville airport, which was only 20 minutes away. The house was beautiful and clean, with a wonderful historic charm. Safe parking is behind the house, which was convenient and nice. Carol and her husband were so kind and gracious with their conversation and tour; we enjoyed seeing the photo album of the president’s visit years ago. And breakfast with Lisa was amazing; she was so kind and sweet and a great chef. This is walking distance from the river, pedestrian bridge and restaurant row. Definitely the best place to stay if visiting Louisville, DDP or staying close to the airport.” — Dion B., 5 stars
“I love staying at historic places and the Market Street Inn has history while being clean and comfortable. The breakfast is made to order and super delicious. The location is perfect for strolling along the Ohio River to casual dining or to drive 5 minutes into Louisville. The neighborhood is a lot more quiet than across the river, which made it a nice relaxing refuge from a full day of sightseeing. The staff were all friendly and helpful. They even had bug spray by the door to ward off mosquitoes in case you forgot yours. The free bottled water is also a nice touch. If I’m in town again I’ll stay here for sure!” — KTroll2014, 5 stars
“My mom, two daughters, and I stayed at the Market Street Inn B & B earlier this week and it was a wonderful experience! The room was perfect and spacious for our needs, Carol (owner) was so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was amazing! Another highlight - the Inn is within walking distance of the pedestrian bridge and several restaurants, so we were able to walk the bridge, walk to dinner, and stopped for ice cream on the way back. The next time we’re in the area we plan to stay there again!” — Katy N., 5 stars

Not only were they accommodating, but their staff was also friendly and gracious. Lisa was especially thoughtful, always with a sincere smile and a offering a kind word. I recommend this place for anyone wanting to visit Louisville and will definitely stay here the next time I'm in town!"

View on Google"Market Street Inn B&B is in a wonderfully restored mansion that is just full of history. We had a large suite for our stay that included sitting area and large ensuite bathroom. Furnishings and decor were beautiful! The inn offers a nice, we'll prepared breakfast in the morning. The inn's location is just blocks from Spring Street in Jeffersonville as well as a couple of blocks from the river. There are plenty of dining opportunities nearby. The location is such that it is easy to get into Louisville in just a couple of minutes. We had been staying at some of the chain hotels nearby, but we will always be staying at Market Street Inn B&B when we are in Jeff in the future!"
