What Guests Are Saying
“The hotel, was very clean, the staff was very nice and helpful. I called a few days before my stay, to see about getting a room that was handicap accessible, because I had a broken leg. They put me in a 1st floor room, had a shower chair, in the room (in addition to the built in chair, in the shower) they even went as far as putting a cover for my cast with it! They also had a lifted toilet seat, in case it was too hard for me to transfer over. Breakfast was provided, it was a decent assortment of pancakes, cereals, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, yogurt and a few other choices. For the price, I am definitely happy and honestly, will be booking here again, the next time we need to be in the area” — Lori D., 5 stars
“The hotel is located close to the highway and only about 10 miles from Chicago. Our room (two queen beds) was surprisingly spacious. The breakfast had many options - pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, oatmeal, etc.” — Lisa G., 5 stars

"We stayed at this hotel for an event and it was a great experience! The rooms were really clean and the staff was very friendly. I didnt catch the ladies name but she was helping with the breakfast area both mornings we were there and probably the most friendly and helpful worker ive ever experienced in a hotel setting! She was so helpful and nice! The area wasnt nearly as bad as what some people put in the comments but I guess it depends on what youre used to. There is plenty of restaurants close by and a bowling alley/sports bar across the street. Its only 10min drive to the Civic Center and about 30min to Chicago. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely return if we are back in the area!"

View on Google"The negative reviews are overstated in my opinion. The hotel is old and worn from age. Old carpet, small TV, dated bathroom fixtures. I would say it’s probably a 2-star hotel because of this… Besides this, I thought the hotel was clean, my room linens were very new/clean, the breakfast (continental)/coffee was good, the staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again."

View on Google"The staff here is amazing. We had an unusual check in request and called around everywhere. Ramada was the only one willing to accommodate us.... granted it slowed check in so the staff could confirm with the manager, but they got it done! Rooms are clean, they give plenty of towels. The beds are not the most comfortable, they are hard and I could feel the springs not that could just be me. Overall they are a good value for the price."
