"The 4.4-rated 1845 Curio-tier sulfur-spring landmark — casino, spa, three golf courses, 1,793 reviews."
About The Hotel
French Lick Springs Hotel is a 4.4-rated (1,793 reviews) 1845 Curio Collection historic sulfur-spring landmark at 8670 W State Road 56 — Indiana’s marquee spa resort. Amenities include a full-service spa with the historic mineral springs, a casino floor, three championship golf courses (Pete Dye, Donald Ross, Valley), multiple pools, bowling and on-site restaurants. Subratings: 4.6 cleanliness, 4.5 service and 4.4 rooms across 1,793 reviews. Recent 5-stars praise the 4th of July fireworks and ‘magical’ resort atmosphere; a 2-star flagged a plywood-covered window with construction scaffolding blocking natural light and no advance notice. A landmark spa-and-casino resort rather than an in-room-jacuzzi property — the marquee is the historic spa, the dome-view walking path to West Baden, and the golf.
What Guests Are Saying
“The location was ideal for me, in a small town where I could pick up essentials I had forgotten. The decorations were beautiful and added to an already gorgeous hotel. My room was comfortable and clean, and I found the price a fair value for my money. The noise level wasn’t’t bad at all; I could still sleep even though people were in the halls talking sometimes. The service was good and I enjoyed some of the amenities such as the pool and the arcade. I very much enjoyed my visit there and will definitely return.” — Teresa A., 5 stars
“The hotel was very historic but it is clean and not run down at all. The bed was comfortable and room was clean. Staff were friendly. I attended a conference there and those facilities are very nice. There is a good variety of restaurants. They have a bowling alley and nice shops. Overall I would recommend this hotel if staying in French Lick due to its cleanliness, historical and beautiful decor and friendly staff.” — sarahlw77, 5 stars
“We and our friends travel with dogs. The resort staff were always attentive to our needs as pet owners. We had a wonderful time for New Years. The hotel was impressive with history. The room was very clean and we had an end room which made it easy to get the dogs outside. A must to see for a bucket list checklist. Thank you staff for a wonderful time.” — Midwestkitch, 5 stars

What guests are saying about French Lick Springs Hotel.
"We stayed at French Lick Springs Hotel in January 2026 while attending an RV parts distributor convention, and overall it was a great experience. We arrived just after the Christmas holidays, and the seasonal decorations were still up—absolutely beautiful. They clearly put a lot of effort into decorating, and it really adds to the atmosphere of the historic property. The hotel itself is very clean, well maintained, and reasonably priced for the quality and experience. Service throughout our stay was excellent. There are multiple on-site dining options, comfortable places to relax, a nice fitness center, and even a bowling alley, which was a fun bonus. The conference facilities are very well done and ideal for large events. Most of the catered food was good, although one lunch stood out for the wrong reason. One lunch was almost entirely carbohydrates, with virtually no protein other than a few bacon bits — which was honestly a little weird. That aside, French Lick Springs Hotel is a beautiful property with great amenities, friendly staff, and a strong hospitality experience. We would absolutely stay here again."

We didnt even know there was a bar in Pluto's as the resort doesn't advertise it like their other bars and resturants which we found strange. The Bartender I believe her name was Tee or started with a T and she was super friendly. My wife and I both had a great conversation with her while we waited for our pizza. The pizza was tasty but the arcade had a few games eat our money but the staff in the pizza place helped us and we kind."
