What guests are saying about Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa:
"Another amazing stay at this beautiful resort! From the minute we arrived, we were treated so well with the utmost in professionalism and hospitality. We would like to especially thank Erick at the front desk for always making us feel so welcome. He keeps us coming back as his efficiency, his warm and friendly demeanor, and pleasant conversation is always the perfect start to our vacation. Even during the holidays, the resort never feels crowded and there is always something fun to do. This is a foodie’s paradise and the drinks are always excellent too. Thanks for the beautiful memories of our holiday vacation. Looking forward to returning!"

Loved the pool and we used the hot tub every single night. Both restaurants were really great. We had Tidepools and the Library on two nights and absolutely loved the seafood. Breakfast buffet every morning was stellar, I had a salmon or mahi mahi salad every morning to start the day. On our last day, we accidentally left a bag at the hotel, and were very stressed out before calling the front desk. The hotel staff were so kind and showed over the top hospitality by immediately deciding to drive it over to the airport before we left on our flight. Incredible. We’ve never had a hotel staff show such warm hospitality, and it completely saved the end of our honeymoon trip! Highly recommend, will have a lasting impression on our new family 🙏"

View on Google"This is my happy place! As often as I can, I make Kauai my go-to spot, typically every couple of years. I started staying at the Grand Hyatt in 2013 and if I couldn’t stay there for some reason, I would still visit. During our stay in 2025, we had an unfortunate experience in our room from a problem in the bathroom above us. Obviously it was not a problem we caused. The responding engineer arrived promptly and recommended to the evening manager that we be moved to another room. That seemed appropriate but I did request not to be moved farther away from the heart of the facility. After some back and forth, I was assured that the room was a little farther away but not extraordinarily so. It turned out to be many rooms farther out. I fumed about it all night and in the morning decided that I wouldn’t let someone else’s hasty, poor choice for us ruin the trip so my husband and I went to the front desk to speak with another staff member about our dissatisfaction. I wish I could remember the man’s name, he was very gracious. He went to speak with the hotel manager, Gina. She came out to hear our conversation but she already found us a great room in our preferred part of the hotel. I felt pretty silly when I started crying but I was happy to have been heard and taken seriously in a situation not of our making. So, Gina, I apologize for not posting this sooner but as I did promise, here is the “thank you” you and your beautiful ohana deserve! We WILL be back and we are grateful for your hospitality."
