What guests are saying about At the Craters Edge:
"Chris and Erik made our stay memorable in all the best ways. From great hiking and dinner recommendations, to the thoughtful snacks/coffee and tea in the room, to the homemade BANANA BREAD baked fresh every morning… their hospitality is unmatched. Room was clean, spacious and romantic. The hot tub on site was a nice touch after hiking all day! The tree frogs outside made for an incredible experience."

View on Google"My husband and I spent four nights here recently. We found it to be a magical oasis which was very restorative. The room was beautiful and fully stocked with breakfast items, coffee, fresh fruit and snacks, all of which can be replenished upon request. We were also provided information by email in advance about local restaurants so that we could make restaurant reservations, given the limited number of restaurants and availability in the area. Our host, Dave, was super welcoming and friendly, responding to all our requests within minutes. When I injured my ankle in Volcano Park, he immediately provided me with ice packs and bandaging. One thing to note: Their concept is to provide total privacy. Therefore, there is no cleaning service provided during one’s stay. There is also a very charming dog on the premises whose occasional barking didn’t bother us, but might be an issue for some. Overall, we were delighted with our choice and highly recommend it to others who want a beautiful retreat near Volcano Park."

View on Google"This little inn is located just a few minutes drive from the park entrance where there is a hotel on site and a couple minutes drive from Kilauea House where you can dine. You could also stay at either, but I would pick Crater’s Edge for the perfect service. The hosts respond instantly on text, your fridge and fruit plate are filled to the brim and you are greeted graciously (with freshly baked banana bread I might add) and a thorough tour of the beautiful grounds and cozy room. I also received indispensable advice about touring the park, which I followed to the T and had the best time. If you want to know what the definition of hosting is, book your stay at Crater’s Edge."
