What guests are saying about Rainbow Lookout:
"Very cute cottage. If you want a true “Hawaiian” experience then look no further than Huelo Point! The owner, as well as the property manager were both awesome and you can tell they truly are in love with the area. You have to put in some effort to get to the property (it’s essentially at the beginning of the Road to Hana). But once you’re there, you’ll be awe-struck! Rainforests…local fruit trees and flowering trees…a beautiful cliff-side lookout! This place has all the check marks! We’ll be back eventually! Mahalo for a great stay! -Damon A"

There are about four units on the property with a shared pool. (We stayed at Rainbow Lookout). Despite having expansive floor to ceiling windows in every direction, they did a great job with the landscaping and layout at always making it feel very private and secluded. We especially loved the outdoor open air shower and our own private little hot tub! The bungalow was perfectly equipped for two people and had great outdoor cooking equipment on our backyard lanai. We loved taking advantage of the "cliff walk" at sunrise/sunset, though to set expectations, it's a walk to a cliff, not a path along a cliff. Regardless, the view is breathtaking. If you're looking for a place on the North Shore to get away from it all, while being in perfect position to explore the Road to Hana as well as Upcountry and the quieter side of Maui, look no further!!"

View on Google"Lookout has the most spectacular views of the ocean, sunrise and lush gardens we've ever had at a stay on Maui. Eight of us enjoyed the Lookout for 5 nights. My husband and I were joined by our daughter and her husband along with their three children. The two master bedrooms, one on each level and a bathroom on each level. Our grandson had a private space in the lower level office and our granddaughter shared the king size bed in the lower living room space. We all gathered daily around the generously sized dining table to eat and catch up. We came to Haiku for another grandson's wedding. We hung out at the pool, enjoyed the short walk to the cliff and checking out the spectacular views. We had short rains every night and loved the late night cooling breezes. The house was well provisioned for breakfast with fresh eggs from the chickens on the property, coffee and delicious fresh pineapple. We all enjoyed the welcome basket with snacks, wine and other goodies. Thanks for your great hospitality!"
