"The “house of peace” sure lives up to its name. Our family of 6 has stayed in this same inn twice now and it has become our go-to destination for our trips to the Big Island! You will get more than just a normal stay here, Dave and Miriam are attentive hosts that treat their guests like family with genuine care and respect. They’re also amazing with their recommendations during your visit and always provide such great insight to make your stay that much more rich and memorable. We highly recommend this beautiful inn! Ps.. The daily morning Kona Coffee served here is just amazing.. something we look forward to upon waking up each morning!"

"It was so amazing! There was so many sounds of wilderness around the area, we missed it very much in all other islands! All you need is in common area, we have breakfast and dinner there and it was just amazing! If we ever consider toreturn to Big Island - it will be our number one option!"

"This is a beautiful, peaceful place that lives up to its name. Our room and bathroom are clean and lovely; the common areas are generous and homey. There is a common refrigerator to store our cold foods, and we have full use of the common kitchen as we want/need. We relaxed to sleep with little frogs sounding and woke up to roosters and other little birds. Traffic heavy in the road outside, but with only so many roads up and down on the island, it's expected as folks head to work. So different than Central Virginia right now! It is only 3+ miles down to Kailua. We prefer this serene setting to the hustle and bustle of the town. We'll be back!"
