"This older hotel in downtown Honolulu is very comfortable, clean and with friendly local staff. I recommend it. My room was dated but spacious, quiet and clean with comfortable beds. The views of the mountains & city are lovely and the location provides lots of opportunities for local dining and downtown activities. Not a touristy area and very pleasant to stay there. Night time's a little sketchy in that area with a lot of homeless but the security at the hotel is great & I felt very safe. Daytime walkability in that area is great."
