Very quaint and quiet setting in a nicely appointed room with a private balcony and entrance. It was a very romantic and rejuvenating time. "I have taken so long to leave a review because I knew I couldn't properly describe the beauty, comfort, hospitality and overall perfection of our stay here! My friends and I were starting a hike of the Ga section of the AT and our start was unexpectedly delayed due to rain and low temps. Don and the Lodge are hiker friendly and we were able to get a room last minute and Don made sure we got to where we needed to go for the several days we were there. Our room had a fireplace and a very large ensuite bathroom with a garden tub with jets and amenities that made our stay feel luxurious. The breakfasts were nothing short of amazing and were served in a lovely, cozy sunny dining room off a common area where we could gather for conversation and relax in comfortable chairs and couch in front of a fireplace. Don and Kendall ensured our dietary restrictions were taken into consideration and still served delicious dishes! I can't recommend this Lodge enough for a beautiful mountain stay where you'll be physically and visually pampered. If you are doing a thru hike or a section hike, mention it to get a discount!"
