What guests are saying about Forrest Hills Resort.
"This was our fourth time visiting Forrest Hills and it was wonderful. Previously we have always stayed in the same Cupid cabin and always loved our stays, but this time we were in a Lovebird cabin (Lovebird 2) and it was an even better experience. The cabin was gorgeous. The cabin smelled so divine when we arrived that we ordered the reeds they were using before we even headed home. The service throughout our stay was fantastic. The breakfasts were delicious. I am possibly getting her name wrong but Peggy (?) should teach a masterclass in making the perfect grits. Shelly or Sherri, our waitress on the final evening of our stay, was a complete delight! Highly recommend eating out at least one evening at Spirits and Bourbon Street. Amazing experiences at both. At resort, highly recommend eating in the Secret Garden Dining Room for couples and ordering Chicken Alfredo, the fried chicken dinner, Caesar salad with grilled chicken, and the pretzel. If you drive into Helen, GA, recommend doing the mountain coaster. A blast!"

Sherri, the Wedding Coordinator, made the day stress free and memorable. The ceremony was relaxed and tailored for our situation. The groom’s family was overseas and Sherri made sure that the technology worked so that his family could attend the ceremony virtually. No complaints about the reception-the food was very good, the wedding cake was beautiful and delicious. Reception service was great."

We wanted a small family wedding we could all enjoy and the staff here delivered. Sheri went ABOVE AND BEYOND. I swear she was in 3 places at once. She made everything move seamlessly. Shay was our officiant and conducted the ceremony as if she had known us for years and they even accommodated a video call with family overseas. The food… where to begin. It was incredible. The food was brought out in perfect time and was delicious. All of our guests complimented the food. The setting is beautiful. Perfect weather and the newly renovated cabin was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The cake was like a dream. I have never tasted a cake like this. It was beautiful, almost too pretty to cut into and tasted even better. The carriage ride was magical. Mitzi and her horses were lovely. Timothy Landon was our photographer and he was kind and patient. He had a wonderful perspective and made sure to capture the photos we specified. Can’t wait to see the final pictures. Everyone here is delightful, detail oriented and so accommodating. I could go on, but I will say this…this experience was beyond words. Sheri took the stress of a busy day and kept this bride calm and collected. We look forward to coming back for anniversaries for years to come. - Rebecca and Sean"
