About The Hotel

Guests really like this Atlanta hotel, ranking it #8 out of 207 on TripAdvisor with a solid 4.5 rating. But for hot tub lovers, the real magic is in their suites with private whirlpool tubs. These aren’t just any hotel rooms - these are relaxation havens where you can soak away city stress.

The in-room hot tubs are spacious and perfectly positioned near large windows. You’ll get city views while bubbling away, making your soak feel extra special. Some suites have extra-large tubs that can easily fit two people, perfect for couples wanting a romantic evening or travelers needing serious muscle recovery after walking around Atlanta.

Beyond the hot tubs, the hotel offers solid extras like room service, a restaurant, and a shuttle bus. The location in Buckhead means you’re close to shopping and dining. But honestly? After a long day, you’ll probably just want to return to your room, fill up that whirlpool, and let the jets work their magic. Pro tip: Request a high-floor suite for the best city panoramas while you soak.

"I had an excellent experience at the InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, professional, and attentive. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt upscale yet comfortable. The room was spotless, spacious, and well-appointed with a very comfortable bed and great city views. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, and the location in Buckhead is perfect—close to great shopping, dining, and easy access to the rest of Atlanta. Amenities were top-notch, and the service truly stood out. Every interaction with staff made me feel valued and well taken care of. This is easily one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in Atlanta, and I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"I stayed at the InterContinental for three nights for a conference and when I tell you the hotel and staff were great, I really mean it. They were beyond attentive to make sure I had everything I needed and was comfortable in my stay. My room had a beautiful view of Buckhead, overlooking Peachtree Road. I can't say much about the hotel's food beyond the food provided for the conference. As far as all of the conferences I've been to, their food was probably one of the best. Whether I come back to stay for work or for leisure, I am looking forward to another stay."

"Our stay at the Intercontinental Buckhead Atlanta was a pleasant and comfortable experience. Check-in was smooth and friendly, with staff making us feel welcome right away. The room was beautifully appointed, offering a refined and modern atmosphere. While we did notice road noise with the curtains open, it was significantly reduced once they were closed, allowing for a restful environment. We especially appreciated the large TV with an easy-to-navigate menu, the elegant bathroom, and the super comfortable bed. The usual five-star touches—like amenity kits, vanity kits, a fully stocked mini bar, and a Keurig coffee machine with coffee and tea options—added to the upscale feel. There were a few minor areas in the room that could use a top-up, but overall, the space was clean, unscuffed, and well laid out. Check-out was just as easy, and the front desk staff were clear and helpful, especially when we inquired about parking. One downside was the $49 overnight self-parking fee, which, along with the amenities fee, is not included in the room rate. It would be much more transparent and guest-friendly if these charges were clearly shown upfront or included in the overall price, rather than added later on. Despite that, we can definitely recommend this hotel for its comfort, style, and overall quality of service."
