Multiple 5-star reviews call it ‘truly a Four Seasons Gem’ and ‘only spot to stay in Miami with 5 star service.’ A 5-star Bal Harbour Shops shopper wrote ‘Rooms are truly beautiful, large and luxurious. Ideal location to Bal Harbour Shops. Staff is amazing. Food is iconic. The only thing this hotel lacks is it needs a coffee bar/cafe.’ A 5-star away-from-South-Beach guest wrote ‘This is our 2nd time at Surfside. We love the location as it is away from the fray of South Beach and has all the elegance and level of service one hopes at a Four Seasons. It is a beautiful hotel with gorgeous common areas.’ Not a marketed in-room-jacuzzi property — Cabana rooms and upper-tier suites are the luxury signature and the Four Seasons spa handles couples treatments. Best for Miami Beach ultra-luxury romance weekends, Bal Harbour Shops walk-across shoppers, Art Basel December visitors and travelers wanting away from South Beach nightlife.
What Guests Are Saying
“We had an outstanding stay at the Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club with our son. The service was excellent from start to finish — from the initial valet greeting all the way through departure and checkout. Even measured against the typically very high Four Seasons standards, the team here operates at the highest level. Everything felt smooth, attentive, and genuinely well-executed. The pool setup is terrific. We reserved a private cabana for one of the days and it was absolutely worth it — comfortable, well-serviced, and a great way to relax. The overall pool environment strikes a really nice balance between calm and family-friendly, similar to what we experienced at other top-tier Four Seasons properties. Our room was spectacular — spacious, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable. In-room dining was another highlight: the food was phenomenal, perfectly cooked, and delivered professionally and promptly. It consistently exceeded expectations for hotel dining. The beach is a bit on the smaller side, and while it is carefully maintained (they rake it each morning), by the afternoon some seaweed had blown in. That said, it didn’t take away too much from the overall experience, which was otherwise excellent. Having recently stayed at another Four Seasons property on the same trip, what stood out here was the consistency and polish across every touchpoint — service, food, facilities, and overall execution. It made for a very easy, enjoyable stay. Checking out, it occurred to me that I literally could not think of a thing that was not perfectly handled. Overall, this is a top-tier property with outstanding service and a very refined experience.” — GTParks, 5 stars
“Our stay at Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club exceeded every expectation and was truly one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, every member of the team made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. The level of service was exceptional - not because it felt scripted, but because every interaction felt personal, thoughtful, and sincere. Whether we were at the pool, dining on property, or simply passing through the lobby, the staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. What made our stay especially unforgettable were the thoughtful touches to celebrate our birthdays. The team found multiple ways to make us feel special, and those gestures meant so much to our family. The true testament to Four Seasons’ hospitality came on the day of our departure when our flight home was severely delayed. Rather than simply wishing us luck, the team graciously offered us a complimentary cabana so we could continue enjoying the property comfortably while we waited. It completely transformed what could have been a stressful end to our trip into one last relaxing afternoon in paradise. The property itself is stunning, but it’s the people who make it extraordinary. Their warmth, generosity, and attention to detail created an experience we won’t soon forget. Thank you to everyone at The Surf Club for making our stay so special. We left with wonderful memories and are already looking forward to our next visit.” — andreaaC6720OW, 5 stars
“This is our 2nd time at Surfside. We love the location as it is away from the fray of South Beach and has all the elegance and level of service one hopes at a Four Seasons. It is a beautiful hotel with gorgeous common areas. Multiple pools and spots to eat through out the day. If you plan to eat at the adjoining restaurant Surf Club make a reservation. They are not part of the Four Seasons in that you can expect a table as a guest and you are not able to charge to the room. The bar there is very small and we did not have luck getting a bar seat or table. The service there was a bit rude unlike the Four Seasons. You get what you pay for here. Shout out to Sophie Gaitch who quickly rectified an issue with house keeping. It was so refreshing to not have to ask for amazing service or an apology - it was swiftly rectified. So rare these days. We will be back anytime we are in Miami.” — Kelly D., 5 stars

What guests are saying about Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club.
"Everything was wonderful. Warm welcome by Victor at valet & Emma at check in, who also shared with us the interesting history of the building. Enjoyed the complimentary glass of champagne while we listened. The pool was beautiful and there are many options for where to sit. Agustin, the pool bartender, provided great service and made delicious cocktails. He was sweet to wish us a happy anniversary. Kostantino, the pool attendant, was hospitable in sharing hotel information with us. We had a lovely drink at the trendy downstairs bar before our short ride to dinner in the heart of Miami. Our room was clean and spacious with everything we needed. The shower had hard pressure and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel itself is beautiful. Loved looking at our view with the floor to ceiling windows. Nice breakfast with great service and a fabulous view. When leaving, several valet attendants helped us. First class service all around!!"

(And I feel like the Marriott Puerto Vallarta is gonna be jealous of me leaving this review now. 🥺) The staff here really understand what it means to make you feel taken care of. I didn't always have that, so it's something I really cherish and appreciate. I look forward to returning again in the future for more amazing views, treatments, food, music, and ambiance. 🩷"
