“From the moment we stepped foot on the property, we knew our 3 night stay would be nothing less than amazing. Greeted by such friendly hosts, Reymond, Jayson and their unforgettable pups, Kona and Fizzy 🐾🐾🩷🐾🐾💙 made us feel right at home 🥰 The property itself is impeccable both indoors and outdoors! Truly appreciative of interior architecture/design, this home exudes beauty and great attention to detail. The innkeepers story of where they started with this home is quite impressive and the amount of love/hard work and dedication shows. The common quarter areas are pristine and have an abundance of natural light. We stayed in the Zahara suite; fresh, warm cookies in our room upon arrival was a lovely surprise treat! There is also a nice coffee/espresso k-cup style machine (so good, it has inspired me to purchase one in the near future) in this room. The room is cozy, colorful and elegant. The bed sleeps comfortably and blackout curtains for mornings you may want a few more hours of zzzzzs. The doors opening to the outside of the room has it’s own comfortable lounging area alongside a view of the crystal clear pool with 2 loungers inside of the pool and an umbrella for those dog days of summer. Breakfast in the mornings included an omelet (2 different choices daily) alongside with coffee (espresso shots upon request) orange juice, fresh fruits, a variety of granolas, and delicious pastries from France. We sat in the dining room off from the main room for a more intimate experience. When our 3 night stay concluded, we didnt want to leave. However, we left feeling refreshed, spoiled and part of the Kenwood Gables family. 10 out of 10, highly recommend!” — Amy, 5 stars

“Our mother-daughter weekend at Kenwood Gables was everything we hoped for and more! From the moment we arrived, Raymond and Jayson made us feel genuinely welcome. Their warmth, kindness, and thoughtful hospitality made us feel less like guests and more like we were staying with friends. We stayed in the Haven Suite, which was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and after busy days exploring St. Petersburg and visiting local needlepoint shops, it was the perfect place to relax. One of my favorite memories was spending time by the pool while my daughter enjoyed a swim. It was peaceful, quiet, and exactly the relaxing atmosphere we were looking for. Breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious and a wonderful way to start the day. Reymond and Jayson also gave us excellent dining recommendations, and every time we saw them they asked about our adventures and were genuinely interested in making sure we were enjoying St. Petersburg. Their recommendations were spot on, and they were always happy to offer suggestions or help with anything we needed. If you’re looking for a charming, comfortable bed and breakfast with exceptional hosts who truly care about their guests, I can’t recommend Kenwood Gables highly enough. “So we’ve stayed at Bed and Breakfast’s before but this time was unlike any other. My husband and I were just looking to get away for a long 4 day weekend and we wanted a different experience than a resort town hotel could offer. That is exactly what we got. From Reymond and Jayson being able to accommodate our early arrival to the wonderfully fabulous home cooked breakfast every morning. We are not only grateful for their hospitality in their beautiful home but hopefully will become friends and repeat visitors for many years to come.
