"My experience here has been amazing! Trade winds is my new favorite beach destination! The service here was top tier everyone was so kind and professional!! want to give a special shout out to Rich and Lee from Bell staff. The first night I got here, Rich assisted us with our luggage to our unit. Which I was really grateful for. He went the extra mile to tell us all the cool spots to check out and explained with so much detail. The next day he gave us a ride on the golf cart to check out Rumi Fish, here we experienced the wonderful mini aquarium! It was soooo mesmerizing. I really enjoyed watching all the different type of fishes in the over head tank. Rich also gave me a ride back to the main hotel. Thank you so much for your kindness! You made our experience so much better! We also met Lee from bell staff when we got back to trade winds! He was so delightful, such a great gentleman! His service was top of the line! In conversation I shared that this is my final trip before I start chemotherapy and he gave me so much great advice and tips on natural ways to heal! I'm so honored to meet such a kind and genuine person. He also helped me bring my take out order to my room. I had full hands and he took the initiative to assist me with my bags. God bless you Lee! He deserves a raise! I am very pleased with the kindness of the staff here at Tradewinds! I can't wait to come back when I heal"

"We stayed at TradeWinds Island Grand over Christmas and had a great experience. Going into a holiday stay, I expected crowds and chaos — but it was the opposite. The resort vibe was relaxed, easy, and very family-friendly. The beach was the standout. The weather was perfect, and the beach staff were excellent — even on Christmas Day. We had no issues getting a beach setup each day, and every staff interaction was friendly and helpful. There was plenty of open space for the kids to throw a football around, and the beach slide was a big hit for all of us. We didn’t spend time at the main pool, which tended to be busier, but the secondary pool was great. It never felt crowded, and we had no trouble getting chairs or enjoying the space. Our room was also great. We requested a first-floor room and were accommodated, and we were told we were placed in a newly renovated space. We booked the larger suite with two beds and a separate living area with a mini fridge, which worked perfectly for our family of four. The location was close to parking, mini golf, and an easy walk to the beach. Housekeeping was also excellent, with fresh towels daily and beds made consistently. Since our last visit in 2024, the new on-site restaurants were a nice addition. The variety made things convenient, though prices were on the higher side. We grabbed pizza, ice cream, and ate at the Mexican restaurant a few times, but otherwise chose to leave the resort for meals. There are several great dining options within walking distance, which worked really well for us. Because it was Christmas, the resort was decorated for the holidays, which made it feel special even though we weren’t home. On Christmas Eve, they hosted a really fun night at the pavilion with face painting, balloon animals, bingo, and snacks — the kids absolutely loved it and it was a thoughtful touch for families staying over the holiday. Overall, TradeWinds Island Grand is a solid, affordable option for families who want an easy beach vacation with plenty to keep kids busy. Everything felt well-run, comfortable, and low-stress. We had a great stay and would absolutely return."

"The TradeWinds Resort gave my 16 year old daughter and me the best Christmas! From check in to check out, the staff, service, food quality, communication and convenience were all top shelf. The management was very responsive. The TradeWinds app made communication, service requests, reservations and booking excursions so easy. The resort is clean and handicap accessible. There was a slight issue with the ada room I booked. Ana the manager was so apologetic. She found me an accommodation and upgraded us at no charge as well as free breakfast. We were able to check in right then and they immediately sent the maintenance staff to make the room safe and comfortable for me. The food is delicious and the bartenders made superior drinks. There were so many activities for all ages. It is a great family resort. They have so many offerings from pool side crafts to yoga, parasailing and so much more! I highly recommend staying there! We will be back! Kylie, our beach server was so pleasant. She served the whole beach everyday we were there and yet it felt like she was our personal server! She never stopped, always going back and forth with trays full and taking orders. She added so much to our overall experience! Ana, helped us check in. She immediately rectified an issue with my booking of an ada accessible room by upgrading us and showing us to our room personally. She asked maintenance to install grab bars in the shower for me and they arrived immediately. My Amazon order was delivered to a private residence next door. Ana had it retrieved and it was in my room before I could even check in it. That service was over and above any hotel I have been at. Shpresa at the front desk was welcoming and helpful. Margarete had holiday spirit for Christmas and made us feel like royalty as we walked through the door. All of the staff was friendly. We truly felt they made sure we had a wonderful vacation experience!"
