About The Hotel

Marco Beach Ocean Suites is a 4.4-rated (1,963 reviews) all-suite alternative to the JW Marriott at 480 South Collier Blvd — one block up the beach on Marco Island’s south end. Every unit is a suite with a private balcony and Gulf view, at roughly half the JW’s nightly rate ($190-$267 vs $591-$664). Amenities include valet parking, a pool, bar/lounge, private beach access, fitness center, business center and conference facilities. Subratings run notably strong across the board: 4.7 cleanliness, 4.7 location, 4.5 rooms, 4.6 service, 4.5 sleep quality, 4.2 value across 1,963 reviews — a stronger subrating profile than the JW at less than half the price. Recent 5-stars praise the sunset views from the balcony, private beach access, well-kept hallways, and the quiet couples-and-small-group energy. A smaller-scale Gulf-suite alternative to the JW resort experience — the marquee is the private balcony sunset view. Not an in-room jacuzzi property.

What Guests Are Saying

“My husband and I stayed here with a group of friends for a long weekend and had an amazing time. The property is very nicely kept and the hallways always smelled amazing. The amenities are nice and the private beach is just perfect. Lazaro and the front desk staff were very nice, friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations. The guys in valet were amazing as well. We would have liked to try the restaurant but it was closed over the summer. The apartments are very comfortable and have everything you need for the beach including chairs, towels, umbrella, insulated bag for drinks/food. The kitchen is also stocked with everything needed for cooking small meals and preparing snacks. We will definitely come back. The only thing we found annoying is the multiple calls from the nearby vacation clubs to try to get you to buy a timeshare or vacation clubs membership. Beware of these calls after booking and during your stay. They may call your room or cell phone.” — Charity A., 5 stars

"Even though there is construction going on here for the pool rebuild, this place is pretty amazing. There was minor noise at 8:30am Monday that sounded lightly like a leaf blower. Nothing bad. I did 2 nights here in a 1 bedroom suite with sea view and balcony on the 11th floor. It had a full kitchen, separate living room, bedroom and bathroom areas. Balcony view was amazing. Bed was super comfortable. Hotel was super clean. Shower was kinda small but clean and functional. This place was really quiet inside. We barely saw anyone. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay again."

"We just arrived and the gentlemen in front were welcoming and friendly. We checked in and were helped so promptly. The professionalism and courtesy were above average! We absolutely love this place. This was our first time here and will not be the last. Super happy we decided on it. The beach is clean. Towels, chairs and cooler are so convenient. A++ thanks for making our trip wonderful!"

"We loved this hotel, that we booked through booking.com! The lobby is elegant and staffed with a greeter - since there is no “front desk” since all the stays are pre-booked. The staff were all awesome! We loved that the valet service was complimentary! The free use of two beach chairs, and towels and a soft cooler was awesome. I think they might have even had free use of bikes, but we did not ask about that. You are right on the beach and they had a small upscale “Beach Bar” just as you got on the walking path to the sand! A negative is that they don’t have a restaurant open for breakfast or lunch, but they do have an outstanding one that opens at 5pm. (Sale e Pepe). There is a place for food across the street. The other negative is that the pool is currently closed for renovation and that made our gulf view room a bit of a bust. Overall, we really enjoyed it. VictorB"
