What Guests Are Saying

“Pretty good, but could have been better. They did an excellent job when I interacted in person, however the text wasn’t the best and some of the daily items could have been better versus me having to ask. The grounds staff was excellent. Once I asked they delivered.” — kwscott2026, 4 stars

“We travelled to the Legacy Vacation Resorts Orlando via TUI from the UK and have to say we were very disappointed with our stay. When we arrived, we checked in on the automatic check-in machine, which asked for a lot more money (deposit / resort fee) than expected. We were given a map for our room and nothing else. We were not given a welcome pack or anything else. Or given any explanation on how to request room amenities. As a wheelchair user and not using a hire car, the location of the resort is only about 300m from Highway 192 and its many shops, restaurants and public transport links to Disney World. The road is part paved and part grass path. Public transport runs every 30 minutes or so to Disney’s Ticket and Transportation Center and costs $2 each way. The room, although a little dated, its size was one of the biggest we have ever stayed in, which was excellent. The noise level was quite high due to the old A/C system. Cleanliness was an issue as floors became very dusty quickly. But unfortunately, it was not explained that room service was only offered every 8 days. Any additional service is at an additional cost. As we were not told about this, it was one of our biggest disappointments. We quickly found out that we could request additional towels and bedding to be delivered to the room, but you must be in the room and await delivery. Smaller items and pool towels could be collected from reception. Soap for the washing machine was chargeable, but there was no consistency in price and how to pay. We were charged cash at several points and told they did not accept cash at other points, and it would be charged to the room. Also, the price of the washing powder increased 400% in the 14 nights there. Food and drink at Toni’s Bar and Grill were limited and enjoyable, although it was closed several times when it should have been open. So, we ended up at Perkin’s at the end of the road. Getting around the resort in a wheelchair was mainly positive, although we had to turn around on occasion as there was no dropped kerb. A lot of the pavements around the resort were cracked and raised, so extra care navigating solo is needed. Checkout was simple, but the receptionist was unable to produce a printout of our stay and said we would receive it via email; we are still waiting.” — Garry H., 3 stars

“I would not recommend this property. This was our first and last time here. The property was good but customer service was awful. We arrived at 3 knowing our room would most likely not be ready. We wanted to sit at the bar or restaurant to work but both were closed. They said they would send a text when the room was ready. At 5:30 we came back and were given a room. Once in the room it was not the room we purchased and looked like non of the pictures we saw online. Back to check in desk which was only one person. The line started at the desk and was backed up to the door majority of the time. While in the lobby there was one issue after another with people. Dirty rooms, couldn’t get into a room because it wasn’t ready, keys weren’t working, the list went on. Again, we arrived at 3, check-in was at 4, and we didn’t get into our room until 7:45! No apologies! When I walked out at 7:45 the line was still to the door with people starting to arguing with each other. Of course we asked for late check out and they said no one was getting it. After people waited hours to check in the least they could do is give an extra hour or something. The best thing I can say about the property is they have great WiFi” — lauren1587, 2 stars

"I recently stayed here for 6 nights with my family, the location was very convenient to the theme parks and shopping. I also had a lunch from the grill - good and super convenient. I was able to check in quickly and the front desk employee was very pleasant. The room was nice, clean and QUIET. On my last day, I was able to meet the hotel manager Gyrod who was pleasantly accommodating and offered me and my wife a drink while we relaxed by the pool. Thumbs up all the way around!"

"We bought our Christmas week stay directly from the hotel and not through a timeshare owner reselling on eBay. The price was very competitive, and we were able to choose the exact dates we wanted. It's within walking distance to highway 192, with many restaurants and grocery stores. Staff is super friendly. The property is clean, with pools and hot tubs. Check-in was fast with self service kiosks that print your room cards. Probably the biggest issue with this property is that the rooms are old - bathroom sinks, toilets and kitchen have not been upgraded in a long time. So if you're not looking for the latest and fancy amenities, this might be the perfect place at an affordable price."
