About The Hotel

Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake Resort is a 3.9-rated (9,677 reviews) biggest and most-reviewed vacation-club property in Kissimmee at 8505 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy — 1,500 acres, four pool complexes, multiple restaurants and a Splash Water Park. Subratings run 3.9-4.4 with rooms 4.3 and location 4.4 as the strongest. Positive 5-stars praise the sheer scale, the ‘biggest one I’ve ever been to’ and the variety of pool complexes; a 2-week July 2026 4-star called it ‘spacious 2-bed apartment with nice view’ and pushed back on negative reviews. CANDID FLAGS: a 3-star said ‘a good base and that is it’ with 12-day stay reasonable; a 1-star (‘A Shame They Can’t Live Up to 5 Stars’) flagged system-down check-in at 2 AM and no room service for 3 days with bait-and-switch complaints. Vacation-club sprawl — a car is essential to move around; check-in patience required at peak times.

What Guests Are Saying

“Golden day! 💛 As someone who visits Orlando frequently, I thought I had done plenty of research before booking Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake Resort. I expected a nice resort, but I wasn’t prepared for just how much there was to do. From the moment we arrived, it became clear that this wasn’t just a resort—it was a destination all on its own. Spanning more than 11,100 acres, the property is absolutely massive. My daughter and I planned this as a Tuesday-to-Saturday staycation, thinking four nights would be more than enough. We quickly realized we could have stayed even longer! By checkout, we were already talking about our next visit because there was still so much we hadn’t experienced. One of the things we loved most was that we never felt the need to leave the resort. Between the lazy river, water slides, multiple pools, splash areas, arcade, karaoke nights, movies under the stars, beautiful walking paths, and daily family activities, there was always something fun to do. The resort’s QR code system also made it easy to keep up with activities, dining specials, and entertainment throughout our stay. Even though the property is enormous, getting around was simple thanks to the complimentary shuttle service. It made exploring the different villages convenient without constantly moving our car. We stayed in a newly renovated two-bedroom villa that was spacious, clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. One of my favorite moments each morning was enjoying breakfast on our patio while overlooking the golf course. It was peaceful, relaxing, and felt more like a private retreat than a traditional hotel stay. The dining options exceeded our expectations as well. We especially enjoyed the spinach dip at Tradewinds, while the tacos at Breeze quickly became one of our family favorites. Having multiple restaurants, snack bars, and poolside dining made everything convenient throughout our stay. As a parent, I also appreciated how clean, safe, and family-focused the entire property felt. The grounds were beautifully maintained, security was visible throughout the resort, and the welcoming atmosphere made it easy to simply relax and enjoy quality time together. 💛 Golden Tip: Book more time than you think you’ll need. We originally planned four nights, and it simply wasn’t enough to experience everything the resort has to offer. Also, don’t hesitate to use the complimentary shuttle—it saves time, gives your feet a break, and makes exploring this incredible property much easier. 👧🏾 Ari’s Pick: “My favorite parts were the lazy river, the water slides, and riding the shuttle around the resort to explore all the different villages. I can’t wait to come back!” 📚 EdVenture Moment: This stay became more than just a vacation—it became a Golden EdVenture™. Exploring such a large resort gave us opportunities to practice navigation, planning, budgeting, and making thoughtful choices about how we spent our time together. We also discovered the value of slowing down, trying new experiences, and creating meaningful memories along the way. It’s a reminder that some of life’s greatest lessons don’t always happen inside a classroom. Sometimes, they happen while exploring the world together. If you’re looking for a family-friendly resort where you can relax, reconnect, and create unforgettable memories without ever leaving the property, Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake Resort is absolutely worth considering. ✨ Every journey is an opportunity to learn, grow, and create GOLDEN memories. 💛 Until our next Golden EdVenture™… Stay GOLDEN! ✨” — GoldenGirlsGlobetrotters S., 5 stars

“The villa looks old from the outside but it’s well kept and clean in the inside. We had the most peaceful sleep. Can’t hear banging of closing doors or hear walking and running footsteps on the ceiling. It feels like you’re on your own private home!” — Avor26, 5 stars

“The resort was nice and had pools and a lazy river that we enjoyed. The unit was comfortable with everything you would need in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms including laundry. Would recommend this resort to anyone.” — JodiDuncan, 5 stars

"We recently stayed in a 2bd/2ba villa here and I cannot speak highly enough about it. I will say, from the outside look, I thought it was going to be dated, but it was not. Beds were comfy. I loved having a full kitchen and full sized washer/dryer. I loved being able to do my laundry before I went home. We didn't get to use much of the resort as we were there for Disney, but I've heard great things about the pool area and we can't wait to return. Loved being close to so many eating establishments and we had the convenience of a walgreens just across one of the entrances. Felt very safe and was quiet, with the exception of hearing something on our first night and then realized it was Disney's fireworks. We couldn't see them, but they were done and we were off to sleep just after."

"We had a great stay at Holiday Inn Orange Lake Resort in Kissimmee and would happily return. The room was spotless and very spacious, with a full kitchen, dining area, washer/dryer, and a screened-in porch, which made the stay extremely comfortable. The living space was beautiful and well designed. The on-site activities are excellent. We really enjoyed the pools and lazy river. While we didn’t personally use the water slides or miniature golf, they looked really fun too. A few minor notes: the pillows and blanket could have been larger and fluffier, and there was a sharp metal edge on the shampoo rack in the shower that caused a small cut—something that would be good to address. Overall, a fantastic resort with great accommodations and amenities, especially for families or longer stays near Disney."

"Me, my partner & 3 kids stayed. (15,3 & 2 years of age) Had a really lovely stay here. Breakfast was delicious! Rooms were spotless, spacious & well equipped. We ended up booking to stay for an extra day/night & spending the day in the fun land water park. Great atmosphere, plenty of good food & drink choices and very helpful staff. Overall a great experience & we will be going back. I would say it’s potentially one of the best resorts we have ever stayed on!"
