What Guests Are Saying
“From the moment we arrived at Islander Resort, we knew we were in for something special. While our first night didn’t go as planned, what truly stood out was how quickly and genuinely the management team stepped in to make things right the very next day. That level of care and accountability speaks volumes. This resort is truly a slice of paradise, beautiful oceanfront views, gorgeous rooms, bungalows facing the pristine private beach, multiple pools, lush tropical grounds, on-site dining, and endless activities that make it impossible to get bored. Whether you’re lounging by the water, enjoying a cocktail at the bar, biking around the property, or just soaking in the peaceful island vibe, there’s something for everyone. Although we weren’t able to kayak or fully enjoy the beach due to sargassum during our stay, it just gives us the perfect reason to come back and experience it all next time! But what made our stay unforgettable was the PEOPLE. A huge heartfelt thank you for superb customer service and for being such a kind, dog-loving resort family; it meant the world to us traveling with our pup. Angela, Dolce, Vanessa, Josh, William, your love for animals and leadership clearly shines through your incredible team; your attention to detail, warmth, and friendliness elevated our entire experience. Charlene, our incredible server at the Tides; you have a wonderful future ahead, thank you for all the love and attention you poured out to us and Bane! You didn’t all just meet our expectations; you exceeded them. We truly could not have asked for a better way to celebrate our anniversary, and we are already looking forward to coming back in September to celebrate a birthday! Food for thought; the yellowtail snapper fish sandwich at the Tides was incredible! A highly recommended dish! Compliments to the Chef! 🧑🍳” — Jessica F., 5 stars
“We had a wonderful stay at the Islander Resort. The property is beautiful, well maintained, and offers so many great amenities. We especially enjoyed the mini golf, basketball court, complimentary fishing poles and bait, the beautiful pier, and the excellent restaurant and bar. The staff was consistently friendly and welcoming, and our room was tastefully decorated, comfortable, and well appointed. I only have two suggestions that I think would make the guest experience even better. First, there is only one mirror in the room, and it’s located in the bathroom. For families or multiple people getting ready at the same time, this can be challenging. There is plenty of wall space just outside the bathroom where a full-length mirror could easily be added. Even placing one inside the spacious armoire-style closet would be a great solution. Second, while the mini-split air conditioning system cooled the room extremely well, the fan speed appeared to be locked on high. The unit blows directly toward the bed, and without the ability to reduce the fan speed, it can become a bit uncomfortable while sleeping. Having the option to adjust the fan speed would make an already comfortable room even better. Those are truly my only suggestions. Overall, we had an excellent experience and would absolutely stay at the Islander Resort again. It’s a beautiful property with outstanding amenities, and we look forward to returning. I hope you’ll consider adding a second mirror to the rooms, as I think it would make a noticeable difference for families and groups traveling together.” — Felicia N., 5 stars
“My first time at the Islander Resort and it was amazing. The resort is filled with activities around the property you can do (kayak, paddle board, mini-golf, volleyball, basketball, biking and even pickle ball!). The rooms (bungalow specifically) were very decent with a large patio/outdoor area to hang out, sit and smoke a cigar. Due to going in July, the sargassum smell was quite strong, but being born and raised in Florida we are used to this. Although the food/drink prices were a bit on the expensive side, our waitress Renee at the Drift restaurant was great! She took a few minutes to have a conversation with us and was just overall very attentive and pleasant. The duo who helped us with kayaking were great. Our check-in/check-out process was smooth. Props to Sarah and Jazz for making it so seamless and for your wonderful customer service. I hope to be back with family for my birthday.” — Zulema R., 5 stars

What guests are saying about Islander Resort.
"I had the opportunity to come to this beautiful and peaceful resort with friends. It was so peaceful, clean environment, welcoming staff. I had the privilege of eating at the Drift restaurant on New Year’s Eve delicious meal and the lobster was great. I met a staff member by the name of Camille she has an amazing personality, she interacted with us and other guest. I had to pause and watch her for awhile, her customer service was perfect and for a person like myself who has been in customer service for over 10 years she is brilliant enough to remain professional but make u feel at home, relaxed. We need more workers like her. For persons who are looking for a clean, peaceful environment , friendly and professional staff, great food you need to visit this resort I absolutely recommend."

View on Google"Gorgeous gorgeous resort! My partner and I visited over the holidays and it was the perfect, most peaceful little trip. The best part, however, was definitely the service. Everyone working there was incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful. When we first got our room there was a minor issue, which was immediately resolved thanks to Sarah and Monique at the front desk! They offered us another room that was even better than the one we originally had and was closer to the beach. It was such a nice and quick solution to something that was truly not a big deal to begin with, and they were really understanding and sweet about it. Thanks so much Sarah, Monique, and everyone else at the Islander Resort for making our vacation so relaxing and stress-free!"

View on Google"We had such a great time at the Islander Resort. We got upgraded to a beach front apartment which was incredible. The rooms were spacious, quiet and enough storage space. We loved sitting outside our apartment with a coffee to watch the sunrise in the morning. We were even treated by a few dolphins playing around in the water first thing in the morning. Also good to note, they have a little cart/ bus that they can arrange for you, which can drop you off at any places within 1.5 miles of the resort, great in case you want to visit the Islamorada brewery or other nearby places. The pool bar had great lunch options, highly recommend the Caesar Salad & the smash burger. The also had activities, we played some glow in the dark mini golf which was fun! In short, we will be coming back!"
