About The Hotel
Pink Shell Beach Resort & Marina is a 4.6-rated (5,201 reviews) recovered oceanfront marquee at 275 Estero Boulevard on Fort Myers Beach’s north end near the pier. Amenities include three pools (with an adults-only pool), a full-service spa, private marina, free breakfast, Sanibel-style studio suites with screened balconies, kids programming (the Ranger Rob character earns near-cult status in reviews), bicycle rental and multiple dining outlets. Subratings run 4.6 cleanliness, 4.8 location, 4.6 rooms and 4.6 sleep quality across 5,201 reviews. Value sits at 4.3 — resort pricing on a barrier island. Recent 5-stars praise treated-like-royalty check-in, Talon at valet and the reopened facilities post-Ian; a 4-star noted the adults-only pool as the couples’ pick when the family pools fill with kids. A resort-experience property rather than an in-room jacuzzi — the marquee is the beachfront, the three pools, the spa and the marina.

“Our first trip to the Pink Shell Resort was great! I went with my 3 daughters all older than 18 so we spent most of time at the adult only pool. The other pools appeared crowded with young kids. We stayed in the Captiva Villas which was very nice, plenty of space for the 4 of us, beautiful large screened in patio. Jacks for breakfast is in the Captiva building. They had decent food - omelet station was very good. It was also pretty crowded with a long wait to be seated, especially at the 9:30-10:30 timeframe. However, I liked the option to walk in without waiting with a to-go box that we could fill and bring back to our room. We rented a personal boat from the marina. I highly recommend this if you are comfortable driving boats. The tritoons are very easy to drive. We had so much fun cruising around the island and anchoring just off the beach at Lover’s Key. Shelling was excellent there (much better than at the resort). The staff at the marina was super helpful getting us set to go, and provided me with a helpful map (I also liked having the naviance app). They were flexible and changed the time we departed on day of trip allowing some rain to pass. I also liked that the trolly stops in front of the resort so for 75 cents a person you can get a ride to the Times Square area or could go all the way to Lover’s Key. Overall great experience!” — Janelle D., 5 stars
“What a wonderful little getaway we had as a family. The Pink Shell Resort is a great place to stay. It is right on the beach and has amazing sunset views. Across the street is the marina which has sunrise views. The complimentary breakfast that is included is so good. They provide beach chairs and the pools are not too crowded. We did the sunrise kayak tour with Ranger Rob. It was fantastic. He spent so much time with us and is so knowledgeable. He tried hard to find wildlife for us. We briefly saw a manatee and some stingrays. While heading out he rescued a bird caught in fishing line. It was amazing to watch. He took pictures of my family so we could enjoy the moment and have something to look back on. I highly recommend booking a tour with him. Thank you Ranger Rob! If you take a trip here please consider bringing reusable straws and be careful when fishing. We learned so much about how harmful plastic is to the water animals. I am surprised straws are still allowed at the resort.” — Angela H., 5 stars
“Pink Shell and Ranger Rob are set apart from the rest. From the moment you check in you are treated like royalty. The bellmen, the housekeepers, the restaurant staff, and Ranger Rob all go out of the way to make your vacation memorable and special. The resort itself is beautiful amd the rooms are exquisite. Ranger Rob was the kayak tour guide for my kids and I, he definitely won us over with his enthusiasm, knowledge, and made our first kayak experience amazing. We will definitely be back next year for our family vacation and will be bringing more family with us next time to experience the Pink Shell and all that it offers!” — Chris E., 5 stars

What guests are saying about Pink Shell Beach Resort & Marina.
"We stayed for 5 nights and 6 days, and having visited many 5-star resorts before, we can confidently say this one was excellent. The complimentary breakfast buffet every morning was both delicious and convenient, with great coffee service plus a small coffee bar located just outside the dining area. The pools were fantastic. we spent most of our time at the main pool. The drink service there was top-notch. A special shout-out to our server, Junior, who was funny, attentive, and incredibly helpful, and another shout-out to Jon at the poolside bar, who made amazing drinks and kept the vibe fun and friendly. We chose to upgrade our pool chairs for two days, which was nice, but absolutely not necessary as there were plenty of available chairs. The beach was just as impressive, with chairs and umbrellas included, plus drink and food service right at your spot. Our room was extremely clean and modern, and we loved that the resort bracelet acted as the room key, super handy. The robes and slippers were a nice touch, and the small kitchenette in our room was an unexpected bonus. Every meal we had was excellent, and every staff member we interacted with was warm and friendly. Overall, this resort exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely be returning!"

View on Google"Fabulous, cheerful, relaxing location with warm pools, white sand beaches and perfect Gulf Coast sunsets. It was a great vacation and we will return. The staff was friendly, kind and attentive. The complimentary breakfast buffet was ample and delicious, made especially pleasant by our charming server Danielle each morning. The rooms were clean and comfortable with beautiful views of the ocean. The bathrooms could perhaps use more hooks for hanging wet swimsuits and towels. A really minor suggestion: The afternoon recreational activities by the adult pool could use a professional touch as they seemed to be kind of an afterthought. As a former trivia jockey I may have unreasonable expectations. We loved the live music on Thursday night at Bongo's bar and grill. If you ever get to see Nathan Tata perform, you will enjoy it."
