“This was our 2nd year for us to visit as just a couple at Opal Sands for a break before school starts for our kids. It’s amazing how consistent the experience has been. The staff are attentive and caring. We love hanging out at the Tiki Bar “The Sandbar” in the afternoons listening to live music on Fri/Sat and having the best bartenders Vic and Keith take excellent care of us. The pantry on every floor always stocked with new snacks, fresh cookies and cold water bottles everyday for you to raid is unique and an added benefit we enjoy a lot. You get the expertise of the pool staff remembering where you sit and being prepared when they see you coming, the pool wait staff memorize your drinks, the crew in the restaurant Seaguini (amazing by the way) remembering your habits and having fun with you along the way plus Vic and Keith working at The Sandbar by the beach with your usual beverage waiting for you. “It was a great expensive. The free cookies/fruit/water/nuts was pretty awesome. It was always fun to see what it would be stocked with. The hotel was well maintained. "Opal Sands and the entire staff will forever hold a special place in my husband’s and my hearts. We worked with Alexis Weisner for our wedding at Opal Sands, and she was absolutely the best. She was kind, detail-oriented, and so easy to work with, and truly helped make our wedding day beyond special. We wanted a space close to the beach and water, and Opal Sands’ lawn space was absolutely perfect. The food was top-notch and delicious, and our room for the weekend was gorgeous. It was the perfect space for getting ready, photos, and unwinding after all the celebrations. Beyond that, the Opal Sands team truly treated us like family and made sure every part of our stay, our wedding, and our guests’ experience was exceptional. We could not have made a better choice for our wedding venue. My husband and I cannot wait to come back and stay at Opal Sands again, hopefully making it a yearly tradition to remind ourselves of the perfect day we had at such a tremendous resort."

View on Google"We had a wonderful stay at Opal Sands Hotel. The rooms are clean, modern, and beautifully designed, and the view is absolutely incredible. We stayed in room 512 and could hear the waves from our room, which made the experience even better. The pool was lovely and heated, which was perfect for our December visit. The beach area was also very nice, clean, and well-maintained. The staff here truly made the stay memorable. Shelby at the front desk was fantastic, and Ruby in housekeeping took great care of us. Everyone we interacted with was kind, welcoming, and attentive. We would definitely return and highly recommend Opal Sands for a relaxing and enjoyable stay."

View on Google"I visited from out of town and, although I didn’t stay on the property, I booked a spa appointment at Opal Sands to celebrate my birthday—and it absolutely did not disappoint. From the moment I arrived, the customer service was exceptional. The ladies at the front desk were welcoming, kind, and professional, with wonderful personalities that immediately made me feel special. My massage therapist, Jay, truly stole the show. I have been seeing the same massage therapist back home for over five years and always considered him the best—until now. Jay exceeded all expectations. His massage was incredibly effective, deeply relaxing, and highly professional. I left feeling completely rejuvenated, with all the tension and knots in my back gone. If I lived in Clearwater, I would book with Jay every weekend without hesitation. I also enjoyed a complimentary glass of wine and had access to some of the hotel amenities, which added to the overall luxury of the experience. At checkout, the front desk staff went above and beyond by gifting me complimentary products and a handwritten birthday card—a truly thoughtful touch. Opal Sands ended up being the highlight of my trip. Thank you to the wonderful staff and to Jay for providing such a luxurious experience and for making my birthday so memorable."
