“We stayed here for 4 nights to enjoy the Florida beaches. We arrived on a Saturday, but because the hotel had a 100-room turnover that day, we weren’t able to check in when we arrived at 4:00 PM. This was quite surprising and disappointing, given that I booked through the AMEX Fine Hotels + Resorts (FHR) program and hold Marriott Bonvoy Platinum status. While the front desk staff was sympathetic, it definitely wasn’t the ideal start to our stay. Once our room was finally ready, it was clean and spacious, and the Wi-Fi worked very well. The hotel beach was a bit crowded on Sunday, but getting two chairs and an umbrella was easy and convenient—this was included in the daily resort fee. The rest of week it was fairly empty and easy to get chairs. We really enjoyed breakfast at the hotel, and lunch was good as well. Overall, after the initial check-in delay, we had no further issues during our stay. One tip for future travelers: we didn’t rent a car for this trip, but in hindsight, having a car would have been helpful to access a variety of dining options outside the beach area.” — Tom M., 5 stars
“We celebrated our anniversary on Clearwater beach and chose to stay at the JW this time. I’m fairly certain their staff is trained exactly like the White Lotus resorts. This was the most consistent world class service experience I’ve ever seen in a hotel. My only regret is I can only remember one persons name who we interacted with. That was Landon in valet. From the moment we arrived we were treated like celebrities arriving. He was so kind and courteous. It was awesome to have him deliver our vehicle to us the next morning as we parted. Every staff member from the front desk to the pool and bars/restaurants made us feel like we were VIP. The property itself is stunning. They have an awesome market and coffee bar in the lobby, amazing bars throughout and the property is pristine. Our room as sparkling clean, extremely luxurious, and so comfortable. “This property is fantastic. The amenities are superb. The ambience is upscale beach casual. From checking in with Ashley who is very warm and accommodating to the valet attendants who are super friendly: The rooms are classy, modern, and clean. Outside on the beach front offers amazing views. Kelli is a wonderful pool attendant. Very friendly and knowledgable of the property and area in general. Ashley at Latitudes 28 is a creative mixologist and super attentive. Ursula at the pool bar is fun and friendly. "This is the best JW hotel we have stayed at. The property is new, very clean, and beautifully maintained. All the staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The scenery is stunning. While the beach area is a bit small, the beach staff more than make up for it, they are extremely friendly and helpful, always assisting with setting up chairs and umbrellas. The pool on the 11th floor is nice, though it could be a bit bigger. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite on the 10th floor with a great view. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was one of the best amenities and made our stay very convenient. There is a restaurant above our unit, and we did hear some noise from moving chairs or tables around midnight to 1 a.m., but it was not too unbearable. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back again. Thank you for hosting us. All the staff are truly amazing."

View on Google"Honestly, staying at this JW Marriott was such a great experience. One of the biggest highlights for me was the sauna. Miranda, who runs it, was incredibly warm, welcoming, and calming — her energy alone made the experience even better. I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels, and I can confidently say the level of service at this sauna was unmatched. The location is also amazing. The beach views are beautiful, and the private beach seating options make it feel really special and relaxing. The staff throughout the property were kind and attentive. Overall, this stay felt thoughtful, peaceful, and truly memorable."

View on Google"My sister and I live in Clearwater and recently discovered The Deep End restaurant at JW Marriott. Food, service, ambiance is amazing. We decided to get a beach pass and enjoy one afternoon with Friends celebrating her birthday. Shanon the concierge went an extra mile to greet us and make us feel very special and comfortable, although we weren’t guests at the hotel. Rocky assisted us almost every hour to change the position of the umbrella. Andi provided top notch customer service, providing recommendations with wonderful sense of humor and quick delivery. Overall, everyone went above and beyond our expectations. Marriott never fails to deliver. That is why I always book Marriott hotels when traveling."
