Amenities include a pool, free breakfast, paid private on-site parking, beach access, kids activities and pet-friendly rooms. Solid subratings mask a share of housekeeping variance — inspect linens on arrival. A pool-and-beach Hampton rather than an in-room-jacuzzi property.
What Guests Are Saying
“This hotel is the Premier hotel on clearwater beach! The rooms are spacious, and the balcony views are amazing! The hotel staff were very friendly upon check in. The manager Brinley is awesome, and was very accomodating. Did I mention the complimentary breakfast buffet! If your coming to Tampa Florida for vacation, and want the best location right on the beach this is it! Live bands play on the toof top bar which has a complete ocean view of clearwarer beach! I can’t wait to go back, its simply the best!” — Israel M., 5 stars
“Hotel staff were beyond nice! We enjoyed our king suite that was technically city view but from our balcony you could also see the ocean & the sunset. We ate every night at Evys; again great sunset views but even better cocktails. Kylee the bartender took amazing care of us each evening. Live music Friday Saturday Sunday was an added bonus. Musicians played special requests each night. We’d definitely stay here again.” — JennDietzler, 5 stars
“I was in town for a conference. Unfortunately my stay wound up being much longer than expected due to a major winter storm. Greg at the front desk was absolutely amazing. So helpful, helped me extend my stay, and so friendly! It’s always so appreciated to see a friendly face when you are ‘stuck’ far from home. Greg turned my trip around!” — Caitlin L., 5 stars

What guests are saying about Hampton Inn & Suites Clearwater Beach.
"We stayed one night at Hampton Inn & Suites Clearwater Beach and had a fantastic experience. The staff was amazing, especially Greg at the front desk, who truly went above and beyond. Breakfast the next morning was actually really good, and the rooftop area was a highlight. It was the perfect spot to enjoy a cocktail and light appetizers while watching the sunset. We did not use the pool since it was a little chilly, but it is heated and there were plenty of people enjoying both the pool and hot tub. We wished we had brought our swimsuits to try it out. The rooms are a bit dated, but the bed was extremely comfortable and that is what matters, the hotel was quiet, the bathroom was large and nicely updated, and we loved having a small balcony. Overall, our entire experience was awesome, and we will definitely be back the next time we are in Clearwater."

We saw many glimpses of dolphins in the water, and the water itself was very clear and clean! Picked up many pretty shells along the way :) The staff were all very kind and helpful.. great service. Also recommend visiting Evy’s Terrace Bar & Bistro and Cabanas, located downstairs in the hotel and beach area! Overall really pretty location, would like to visit again :)"

View on Google"Stayed here 2 nights on 8th floor just above the restaurant. Great view from our room with partial view of ocean. Diamond member so free and preferred parking with room view upgrade. Checkin staff fantastic and easy. Entrance to hotel and little hard to finf but parking staff outside saw us and guided us in. Very tight parking spaces but ok. Room was nice with balcony and 2 queen beds with microwave and fridge. Upon checking in microwave not working but figured out was unplugged. Also shower gel was empty but went to front desk to get a new one. Shower pressure was low which gave the shower head and loud noise until you adjusted the settings a bit. I wasn't a fan of the flat pillows but it seems the norm at most hotels these days. I'm more of a firm side sleeper pillow person. Breakfast was good and alternated on the two days there. Eggs and biscuits and gravy then omelets wirh chicken sausage and potatoes. Good pastries, yogurt and fruits. Smores and vanilla waffle batter wirh chocolate, caramel and whipped cream a treat. Teen boys used pool and hot tub on cold days but both heated and great. Check in and out towels at front desk. Also nice little beach area wirh chair/umbrella $35 rental. Easy walk down to the beach and other shopping area. We walked both nights at sunset even in cold and windy days. Great stay for us and we hope to be back some day."
