What Guests Are Saying

“Very cute boutique hotel one block or so from the Opal hotel. Loved it. Super clean, great staff. The family suite has everything you need; dishes, silverware, bowls, plates… they also have fresh coffee and tea in the lobby. You can use their microwave, toaster and blender. Forget your beach/pool towels at home. You can get those in the lobby. The pools are heated and clean. For now, they are opened from sun up to sun down. I’m going to say something negative but it’s knit picking and my personal preference. A shower shelf would have been great as I dislike putting my shower items on the floor - but again not the worst thing in the world. You can literally walk everywhere. It is not the location for partying but if you are looking for an amazing time, go listen to the live bands at Shepard’s. The beach has powdered sugar sand and the water was clear and warm. You’ll need to go in through Fifth St. to get on the beach. Do the boat tour with Sunkiss - They will take you to various shelling and swimming spots. Pure awesomeness. Eat at the Sand bar, Crabby’s and Shepard’s. Do yourself a favour and indulge in a donut at Parlor Donuts - connected to the Holiday Inn, the building before Shepard’s. That being said, I highly recommend staying at Devon Shores and will surely stay there again” — Julz F., 5 stars

“We stayed here for three nights. They have two buildings one on each side of the street and each one has a pool. Both buildings have two floors. Very well maintained property. A couple of minutes walk to the beach and Pier 60 within a 10 minute walk. If you have a vehicle parking is free. Our room was clean and the bed for us was comfortable. There is a full size fridge, stove and microwave. Good size bathroom with a shower. All staff members we met were very friendly and engaging. Free coffee and flavoured water in the office lobby. Easy 10 to 30 minutes walk to many nearby restaurants. It was quiet during the night and we had a good night sleep.” — Paul, 5 stars

“Great location. You can walk to everything. For beach access, you can cut right through a surf shop located across the street. Super convenient. The hotel is perfect. Room was spotless with staff who really know the meaning of quality customer service. We had a double king with full kitchen. Perfect for making breakfast or a quick snack. There is a Publix located at Island Way… stop on your way in to grat what you may need. Free parking (Rare in Clearwater) and again, the best staff ever!!” — Pat2507, 5 stars

"Love, love loved our stay here! My husband and I had faced a lot of difficulties and disappointments in our travels up until checking in here… everything from our flights, to our rental, from the first hotel we stayed at… all were a total disaster. Ashley at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure that we were accommodated and comfortable. She was so wonderful! The manager that was present (very nice gentleman, I can’t remember his name) even upgraded our room! We loved our time here and can’t wait to visit again. We have also already started recommending this hotel to all our friends and family. It is the perfect place to stay in Clearwater if you want a truly luxurious, comfortable stay."

"If you plan on visiting Clearwater Beach you have to stay at Devon Shores! Believe me you won’t be disappointed!!! Their staff is top notch. Friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Their suites are clean, beautiful and comfortable. I’m a true critic when it comes to bathrooms and showers, and let me say from cleanliness to water pressure they are some of the best. Their beds are comfortable, rooms smell great, and depending on the suite you choose some have full kitchens. In the morning make sure to stop by the lobby for some of their great coffee! They have two properties located across the street from each other. Each property has its own pool and just like their rooms offer high end lounge chairs. During the summer months they will even offer you a complimentary beverage to help keep you cool. They aren’t located directly on the beach, but to me that is a plus (less sand all over the floor in your room). It’s a very short walk to have your toes in the sand. Food options are everywhere and within walking distance. I can’t rave enough about our experiences at Devon Shores. I highly recommend them above all of the other places I’ve stayed in Clearwater Beach."

"I would like to begin by giving a huge thank you to Janice for her outstanding service. She was absolutely wonderful—warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive to every question and request. Her professionalism, positive energy, and exceptional hospitality truly stood out and made a meaningful difference in our stay. Her level of service went above and beyond and she is absolutely deserving of recognition—and a well-earned raise. We reserved a Family Suite, and the room exceeded expectations. It was pleasantly scented, spacious, and equipped with a generously sized refrigerator that comfortably accommodated our food. I especially appreciated the inclusion of a dehumidifier in the room, which effectively kept humidity levels down. The all-marble bathroom was a lovely touch, and the overall property was well maintained, with pools conveniently located on both sides. I would happily book a stay here again in the future. The rest of the staff was also very friendly and accommodating. ***As a small suggestion for improvement, adding a built-in storage shelf or toiletry caddy in the shower would be beneficial, as placing toiletries on the shower floor is not ideal.**"
