Hyatt Centric Delfina Santa Monica

"My husband and I came to Los Angeles for our honeymoon and had originally booked another hotel. When we arrived, it was nothing like the photos — it was terrible, dirty, and smelled awful. It was honestly a nightmare, especially during what was supposed to be our honeymoon. So, we started searching for another place to stay and went from hotel to hotel until we finally found Hyatt Centric The Delfina Santa Monica. That’s where we met Ana at the front desk — and I have to say, I have never experienced such kindness and professionalism from a receptionist before. Ana took her time with us, explained everything clearly, and showed so much patience and understanding for our situation. She immediately made us feel safe, comfortable, and reassured us that everything would be okay. She truly turned our honeymoon around. The hotel can truly consider itself lucky to have employees like her! The hotel itself is beautiful, perfectly located, super clean, and the room smelled amazing. The valet staff were also very kind and friendly — such a great team! Everything was just perfect. I can honestly give this hotel a 10/10 — not only because of how nice it is, but mainly because of Ana. She’s the reason we were able to enjoy the rest of our honeymoon, and I’ll definitely come back here again because of her."

Over multiple days, I noticed how attentive, professional, and genuinely kind she was with everyone who came through the lobby. She made check-in smooth, always had a warm smile, and went above and beyond to ensure guests felt welcomed and cared for. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it easy to relax after long days. I also want to highlight the staff at Coastal Harvest — they were just as friendly and helpful, and the dining experience was consistently great. Overall, the combination of clean accommodations, excellent dining, and outstanding service — especially from Tracy — made this a memorable stay. I’ll definitely return and recommend Hyatt Santa Monica to friends and colleagues."

"Fantastic. Beautiful. Well appointed. Great staff (from front desk to housekeeping). Drybar hair dryer (heavy/high end). Wonderful bedding / mattress. NOTE: If you fall in love with the mattress / bedding, there are several Reddit threads that discuss how to purchase! My only suggestion for this Hyatt is to upgrade their coffee roast (weak) and offer bigger than 6oz/8oz cups. Thanks for a great stay!"
