"The Keating hotel is a phenomenal location. The rates are fantastic, the staff is friendly, check-in and check-out is a breeze. The superior king suites are… a bit of an unusual layout, but I think that’s a partly a result of the building being constructed in 1890. I’ve never had any sense of smell, but a friend who came by and visited described the hallways as smelling “antique” - as one might expect of a structure of this age. If you’re used to urban areas, the room is plenty quiet - but being in an urban area, this sort of “quiet” may not be what some are used to, especially if you spend more time in rural areas. I absolutely plan to stay again. It’s in a great location, and though the views may be a bit lacking compared to locations more beachfront, everything else more than makes up for it. Tons of great restaurants and bars within 1-2 blocks, and tons of attractions within a mile. Of note: I prefer to keep spaces darker than most. I’m particularly sensitive to light. As such, most of the lights in my pictures are turned off."

View on Google"Honesty, super unique stay! Keypad entry upon arrival for the main entrance and your room. Clean and compact rooms with all the essentials, mini fridge and very comfortable beds! Right in the heart of gaslamp with multiple restaurants and bars within walking distance! About a 15/20 minute walk from the seaport area and a short uber ride to ocean beach, Coronado island and the airport! My room was near a pub with live music but it was never loud enough to disrupt my sleep and they provide earplugs!"

Close to all the things to do in daygo, n if you like to party or karaoke you right in the heart (gas lamp) of downtown daygo plenty of places to go and everything is walking distance from The keating hotel as well as the customer service there. Such nice people there that go above and beyond to make your stay comfy and free of worry I would recommend this for Anybody!! get away with you’re lady, solo, or family either way 100% recommend this"
