"I recently stayed here for the first time, and it was great! We stayed here during the holidays and hope to be back soon. :) It’s in a great spot central to a lot of places in San Diego. The water views and vibes were great, and it’s very family friendly. I also recommend dining at their onsite restaurant. My parents loved the view while eating there. Next time - we will definitely play pickleball and tennis at their courts! Thank you to Kylie, Micah, and Grant for their hospitality as well!"

"Great place. Covewood is a restaurant with an amazing view of the bay. Breathtaking! Don’t order the shrimp tacos. I’ve never had such chewy deep fried shrimp before. Luckily I was not charged for it. Other meals looked good."

"I recently stayed at San Diego Mission Bay Resort for a conference I was attending that was occurring in San Diego, California. Overall, I will share that Mission Bay Resort has many wonderful qualities. The staff were kind, welcoming, and very helpful throughout my stay. The property itself is expansive with beautiful views of Mission Bay and a wide range of amenities, making it a lovely place to spend time and relax. Unfortunately, my room experience fell VERY short. I stayed in a first-floor/ground-level room, and each morning I woke up to new spiders claiming inhabitance in the room, which was super unsettling. For a resort-style hotel, this is the last thing I expected to be dealing with. And, per my reading of other reviews on Google, I'm not the only patron who has experienced bugs invading their room. Further (regarding the cleanliness of my accommodation),, when I checked-in, there was someone else’s hair left in the shower (which I noticed as I was unpacking my things), and the wood floors were extremely dirty — clearly not vacuumed or swept. The room did not feel properly cleaned prior to my arrival. If the room cleanliness had matched the quality of the staff, location, and amenities, this would have easily been a 5-star stay. I was surprised as to how expensive my stay was given the quality of the accommodation. Overall, this is a beautiful resort with excellent staff, but room cleanliness is an area that needs MAJOR improvement (particularly for first floor guests, as I've also garnered from other people's reviews of this hotel on Google)."
