What guests are saying about Inn at Newport Ranch:
"What wasn't perfect? the rooms were cozy and delightful, the common spaces were inviting and warming - with a fire place and lots of hang spaces. The staff was attentive, but light and fun at the same time. They gave great recommendations. And the grounds were just stunning - long walks, good treks along inspiring coastline, with solitude and quiet. Benches and tables emerging like mushrooms in little pockets by the ocean. And the food. Have you ever had a breath taking tuna sandwich? well now I have. How many times have you paused over oats? Then you get to the main event - the dinners were amazing - every dish worth relishing."

This is the type of place that knows what you need before you do. Everyone who works here really seems to enjoy the ranch and are genuinely warm, friendly, and accommodating. Don't miss out on any type of ranch or forrest tour either, its a spectacular journey (thanks Otis!). Can't wait to visit again and have more drinks by the fireplace."

We wanted a place where we could truly immerse ourselves in nature while savoring exceptional food, and this ranch delivered on every promise. From the moment we arrived, we felt a sense of calm wash over us. The bluffs and picnic spots offered some of the most breathtaking views of the California coast we’ve ever seen, and simply wandering the thoughtful grounds became one of our favorite pastimes. Breakfast each morning was nothing short of spectacular. Two nights, we treated ourselves to the seven‑course tasting menu—an incredible, Michelin‑star‑level meal. The head chef and sous chefs were incredibly passionate; they walked us through their homemade fermentation process and showed us how they forage and maximize every ingredient from the land. One of our highlights was Odis, the kindest local guide with a treasure trove of regional stories. He gave us an unforgettable ATV tour, and we even had the privilege of planting a redwood sapling together, which felt like a small, meaningful way to give back to this beautiful place. We 10/10 recommend booking time with him. Another mini highlight was Felicia, who cares for the garden. She taught us about the herbs growing on the property and even gifted us fresh lemon verbena leaves to take home. Mercedes was responsive and accommodating to our needs with our little boy, making sure we always felt supported. All in all, we stayed right on the property for three days and never once wished we’d ventured elsewhere. It was one of the most memorable vacations of our lifetime, and we cannot wait to come back."
