Beach Village At The Del, LXR Hotels

"The hotel is very pretty, the personnel are awesome, we asked for different compliments and they were very kind to give them to us. We enjoyed our stay. Our kids also loved the hotel. The private pools were amazing, because only a few people could access them."

"Beautiful location. Pros: spacious rooms, clean for the most part (bathroom floor was a little dirty), gorgeous views, private pools and jacuzzi for those staying at the beach villages. Not a lot of people were in the pools. Staff were friendly and they did turn down service w/o you asking. Kept our water stocked. Great place to walk around. Cons: parking was confusing for beach village. There’s construction going on so once you get out of the parking garage do not use the elevator. Take the stairs to exit out to some bushes and then take a left to go to the lobby down some stairs. We went to the main hotel instead and had to get golf carted back to the beach village. John who was part of valet was really nice in assisting. Jay at the front desk was great as well. Also didn’t like that the front door had a window from top to bottom. There wasn’t any curtains or blinds to block out the light from the front door. This left us in a brightly lit room when we’re trying to go to sleep. The pictures attached is the light coming into the room. Made it hard to sleep and would benefit having a blind to cover the window if needed. Your neighbors are also very close to you. The patio is divided by a thin wall you can basically hope over. If they’re outside talking in the morning, you’ll be able to hear them."

"Rooms were lovely and staff was nice. Girl that checked us in was friendly, however new and not knowledgeable and we were given incorrect information . Beach front villages do see a lot of private parties outside so be prepared for late night noise. The beach was closed for swimming due to “sewage and bacteria” so be sure to check before going. The main hotel is a complete construction sight with noise, scaffolding, and an unfortunate eye sore including portopotties.. The food at restaurants was above average and they did offer free light bites which we were never told about at check in or by any of our wait staff (I’m sure it hurts their tips). Two bottles of water in the general store was $16 and I purchased the least expensive. I think with construction, outside parties, and beach closures there would have been some better attention and offerings. Also, the light outside our door, shown brightly all night long so our room was lit while sleeping. Nothing we could do to turn it off. Pros, the hotel was not full due to construction so we didn’t have any issues waiting for tables, there was plenty of room at the pools and gym, and our room was updated and beautifully decorated."
