"Tradewinds Hotel is fabulous. But one thing sticks out the most above all— and that’s the dynamite service of the bellhop, John. John is a true professional. He’s a mensch. A good egg, if you will. He just make all the guests feel welcome. John is the primary reason I like to stay at tradewinds. One time John single-handedly got three huge suitcases up several flights of stairs for us, in record time — and with a smile. Great kid."

View on Google"We enjoyed our stay at Tradewinds Carmel. The room was nicely decorated. Everything was thought thoroughly. Beds were comfortable. Though there was no air conditioning, we left the balcony opened to let the air in. Breakfast was simple. Parking was available. We didn’t have any issues getting a parking space. Would definitely stay again."

View on Google"The grounds are attractive and nicely landscaped. The rooms are nice, although they didn't update old tile in the bath and coffee station. The pillows were too bulky and uncomfortable. The room has a nice balcony with ocean view. Front desk was friendly and offered free cookies and a complimentary breakfast, both of which are forgettable. Overall a nice place to stay, but you will probably want other breakfast options."
