Moonstone Cottages

"We normally book budget-friendly vacations, but this time around it was a special occasion. And it was worth every penny! We stayed in the Seascape Cottage which gave us an ocean view. The interior decor was very ornate, the TV had Netflix access, the bathtub had jacuzzi jets, Keurig pods for coffee and tea bags were provided, and you get breakfast delivered to your door every morning. We krdered the burritos and they were the best and biggest burritos. Our compliments to the chef! We did bring our own ice chest to store food because the mini fridge is very small for what we needed. Parking was cumbersome but we managed. We love the location because it is right across the street from the boardwalk and next door to an amazing restaurant. And we wanted to give a shout-out to Jack for his hospitality! We hope to be back soon."

"Stayed for a romantic weekend getaway. We had never been to Cambria so we read reviews before we settled on moonstone cottages. Found the cottages to be clean, cozy and well maintained. Decor was cute and added to the coastal atmosphere. The bedding was super comfy and so was the mattress. Nighttime was chilly so we enjoyed the fireplace. The location is walking distance to the ocean trail, and two doors from moonstone bar and grill. Breakfast was included and delivered to the door at the time of your choosing. We sat out on the patio in the sunshine for breakfast each morning, listening to birds singing and view of the ocean. When we first arrived I was surprised by how close the main road was to the cottage. I hadn’t read this in other reviews. Ended up being no big deal once blinds were closed in the evening and the road was not heavily traveled most times. Another shock was how close the cottages are to the driveway. We have a midsize SUV but a large one might need to park on the road instead. Overall, it was a lovely trip and I would recommend it to other couples."

"Recently stayed in the Mariner for 3 nights while visiting Hearst Castle. Charming, cosy, clean cottage. Hot breakfast delivered to our door each morning. Will be returning!"
