Four Sails Resort
"4.2-rated condo-style oceanfront tower on 33rd Street with a pool, restaurant and spa amenities."
About The Hotel
Four Sails Resort is a 4.2-rated condo-style oceanfront tower on Atlantic Avenue at 33rd Street in the heart of the central boardwalk. Units are full-kitchen condo layouts rather than standard hotel rooms, with a pool, restaurant, spa amenities and a top location score (4.8). Reviews split between longtime returning guests who love the layouts (Midwestern families note ten-plus-year stays) and complaints about room-type consistency, management responsiveness and RCI-timeshare booking issues. A condo-resort rather than an in-room-jacuzzi property — best for repeat guests who know the property and its ownership model.
What Guests Are Saying
“Loved our stay. The 2 bedroom unit was perfect for our family vacation and the views were amazing. The staff was extremely friendly. They offer free bike rentals which was a really nice amenity and the indoor pool was very nice. It can get a little loud with the jets flying over, but would definitely stay there again.” — Adventure732625, 5 stars
“Wonderful staff greeted us at this casual beachfront location and were very attentive. Thank you Desmond for all your help and hospitality. Clean and comfortable rooms with kitchen. All rooms offer beach views and great access to special local amenities and restaurants.” — Judith K., 4 stars
“the crew was excellent room clean, and the view was amazing. only thing was the keys to the room did not work and when they reset the key had to wait for 20-30 minutes for them to work. other than that, nothing bad to say. we would go again. the price was good.” — Robert A., 4 stars

Guest reviews
What guests are saying about Four Sails Resort.
"Everyone is entitled to their opinion so I will share mine. After reading some one star reviews I must totally disagree. Perhaps they were overnight guests that expected perfection. I have stayed here for many years. The staff is like a family to each other. One member of housekeeping has been here for 18 years. They are the best. I had a problem with a bathroom towel rack on arrival and maintenance was here in five minutes. They are always updating things in the units. The furniture looks great. Its solid and you do not see worn or dirty pieces like at some locations. The view is amazing. The restaurant has been here for many years and if a restaurant is not good, it closes. TVs are cable, not streaming so you can see live news, not two hour recycled news. It has an indoor pool and an exercise room with modern machines and a sauna. The kitchens are small because of room size limits imposed by Virginia Beach for oceanfront properties but they are fully functional and fully equipped for making a great meal if you choose. The in-unit jacuzzis are incredibly large - not like some hotels that put jets in a tub and call it a jacuzzi. One earlier reviewer called Four Sails "old" and "past its prime". Just a few blocks up the street is the Cavalier Hotel - which was built in 1927 and will soon be 100 years old. Is it also past its prime and old? The majority of reviewers have spoken positively of Four Sails and I will agree with them 100%. Its a well maintained, wonderful place that I will always recommend."

View on Google"Came to this location for an oceanfront getaway. It was reasonably priced and we would go there again for another short trip. Having a balcony off both the living room and bedroom was excellent. Not the best place to stay on the Virginia Beach boardwalk but if an ocean view is all you need you have it here for sure. Many pods of dolphins were active in front of the hotel throughout our trip."
