About The Hotel

Beach Quarters Resort is a 3.2-rated oceanfront studio resort on Atlantic Avenue at 5th Street on the quiet south end of the boardwalk near Rudee Inlet, with a pool, beach access and a game room. Scores run soft across the board (cleanliness 3.6, rooms 3.4, value 3.3) with reviewer flags about noise between connecting studio rooms and a Diamond Resorts / HGV transition that affected timeshare bookings. Some guests praise the same-floor parking and first-floor beach walk-out. A value oceanfront studio rather than an in-room-jacuzzi property — best for value travelers who want a south-end oceanfront rate and know the studio-room limits going in.

What Guests Are Saying

“Me and my 18 year old grandson stayed during his college spring break. We had 2 bedroom lock-off unit so he had his own room but we kept the adjourning door open so we could easily communicate. We both are pretty laid back so we rested for our entire trip other than going out to eat a couple times. Rooms were nice and clean. Would definitely go back if available while visiting VA Beach” — spwilliams2025, 5 stars

“The staff was amazing, everyone was so kind holding doors, speedy service, very clean room, hot water, and a great view. On the south end of the boardwalk this was the only hotel we saw with a 1st floor walk out that leads directly to the ocean!! We will definitely come back!” — Nichole R., 5 stars

“We enjoyed the ocean view and private balcony. The staff was friendly and helpful. The suite was conducive to our different sleep schedules.” — karenh4342025, 5 stars

"Just spent one night, but our suite was very clean, nice, and up to date. The upper deck pool/bar is RAD. Parking garage is a lil weird design, and very tight. Only reason for not giving 5 stars on service is we had to call the front desk 3-4 times over almost a two hour period requesting bedding for the fold out couch. .... We didn't actually receive the bedding until after the night shift change around 11:00PM. Other than that small issue, everything was geeat. I wound absolutely recommend this hotel."

"Ocean view is great. The room was clean. Parking garage has very small ramps, so large vehicles will be difficult to maneuver between the garage levels. The water pressure in the shower was pretty bad when I was there. The location was great. It was a good hotel for the price."
