What Guests Are Saying
“A lovely Hampton that is well run. Clean and updated the hotel is a good value and near DC. I took a corner room which is a walk down the hall but the additional light from having 2 windows is quite nice. Nice area, good parking.” — passingonthrough, 5 stars
“I’m torn with this review — I’d like to give them 3.5 but clicked 4 due to the breakfast staff. First the good. My room was ready when I checked in and was the type/location I requested. It was spotless and most things were fully stocked. Housekeeping must be instructed to put very few paper cups, so I got more from the lobby coffee area. The breakfast area was great — large and plenty of tables. The food was typical Hampton fare and the attendants did a wonderful job keeping food stocked and the area clean. There isn’t much in the way of restaurants within walking distance, but I brought my food so that wasn’t a concern. There are several dining options a short drive away. Now the so-so — the pool area. The pool was a decent size, and the hot tub was normal (smaller) size. The cleanliness in this area was OK except that there were used towels sitting around. The hot tub jets were very weak and I did report it by text. No idea if it was fixable or when/if it was fixed. Staff? A real mixed bag. As noted, the breakfast attendants were wonderful, as was housekeeping. The front desk clerks when I checked in late Saturday afternoon were very pleasant and knowledgeable. The front desk clerk when I checked out Sunday morning shortly after 9am? Ugh. I wish I’d taken her name. She acted like she was doing me a favor by answering any questions. She walked away as I approached the front desk, without saying “I’ll be right with you” or something similar. When I said I wanted to check out she told me I could leave my keys in the basket. When I asked for a paper receipt she claimed she couldn’t print one as the printer was resetting. I had to ask for an email receipt as she didn’t offer it. and waited there as I always check my receipt when on the hotel premises. Would I stay here again? Yes as the good outweighed the bad overall. I’ll just cross my fingers that the front desk clerks are friendlier next time.” — Jody C., 4 stars
“This is a very heavily used hotel and is generally fine. Unfortunately during my stay in June 2025 I found the mattress and pillows really need to be replaced and the bathroom starting to look a little worn (wallpaper lifting by tub, corners of bathroom floor in need of scrubbing). Mattress was just plain worn out and lumpy/ non supportive. Pillows in same condition. I had to sleep with my head at the bottom of the mattress and feet at the top in order to get out of the “pit” in the mattress. ( A great tip if you find yourself on a worn out mattress).” — Marie E., 3 stars

What guests are saying about Hampton Inn & Suites Washington-Dulles.
"We stayed here in order to fly out of Dulles and we utilized the hotel's parking program (leaving the car for an extended time for a very reasonable fee with shuttle to and from the airport). The service and congeniality from Suni and Javier (Front Desk) was outstanding. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel was quiet and the shuttle service excellent (less than 15 minutes from the airport). The somewhat older and a bit more robust shuttle bus driver was extremely friendly (I am sorry I did not get his name)."

Ashanti at this location was able to secure me a room by the time I walked in. She made sure I had all of the information of checkout, where to eat, and the complimentary breakfast. Impeccable service by her! Thanks again and if you need anything quality place for the night, this is where you can be!"

View on Google"Good hotel that includes breakfast, which is pretty good with a variety of items. Close to a major highway. You will hear cars but it’s not terrible. Clean rooms. Internet is very slow. I recommend bringing an Ethernet cable and adapter if using a laptop. There are washing machines and dryers free for use, which is great, but on fourth floor, one of the dryers does not work, the other took nearly two hours to dry a single load. Same issue on second floor laundry. One dryer only blows cold air, the functioning one took an hour and half to dry. Front desk was notified."
