About The Hotel

Lansdowne Resort is a 4.0-rated (3,795 reviews) 476-room Loudoun County resort on Woodridge Parkway in Leesburg — Loudoun’s marquee golf-and-spa resort. Amenities include two Robert Trent Jones and Greg Norman-designed golf courses, a full-service spa (aesthetician Rose repeatedly praised for facials), a pool, bar/lounge, bicycle rentals, EV charging, and kids-friendly amenities. Subratings hold up (cleanliness 4.4, location 4.3, rooms 4.2, service 4.2, sleep 4.2), with softer value scores (3.8) at resort pricing. Reviewer flags include some rooms that feel dated compared to the expansive beautiful common areas (fireplaces, high ceilings, spa-like lobby that smells like a spa on entry). A resort-and-spa property rather than an in-room-jacuzzi hotel — the appeal is Loudoun wine country access with resort amenities and golf.

What Guests Are Saying

“Had an amazing 4th of July weekend at Landsdowne that exceeded my expectations. Mr. Saine, the director of operations, and his team did a phenomenal job. The staff was welcoming and accommodating, the facilities were great, and the firework show was the best I’ve seen live. I also got to play golf and the course was amazing, the greens were immaculate but very fast. Will be back sooner than later.” — khaleeq E., 5 stars

“This was our first time staying at the hotel, and it completely exceeded our expectations! Yusuf was phenomenal—extremely professional, welcoming, and hospitable. Even though he has only been working there for about four months, his service was truly awesome. I sincerely hope management and ownership realize what a gem they have in Yusuf!” — Princess Z., 5 stars

“Came to celebrate our mother’s 60’s birthday and it was the best trip. The spa was amazing, food was amazing, and our waiter, Chacko, at Piedmont was so great and made my mom’s birthday dinner so special!” — Sarah N., 5 stars

"My stay was amazing! I had originally booked a king room but was pleasantly upgraded to a suite because I mentioned it was my wife’s (a new mom’s) birthday. I really appreciated that thoughtful gesture! My wife was so pleased and happy, even out 2month old was excited with the view, which meant the world to me. Thank you so much for making our stay special."

"It was an amazing experience. Our high recommend this place to anybody. That's comes to that area or wants to experience an amazing time there's Golf courses, blue pool tables. Wonderful staff and willingness of the staff to help you with anything you need. If you stay there you can user drive range for free and get rental clubs for practically nothing. There's not enough good things to say about this place.Other than I can't wait to go back and spend all day at the spa which was amazing."

"The staff at Lansdowne Resort are awesomely great — every single person I encountered was genuinely kind and eager to please. Special shoutout to Morgan at the restaurant bar, who was incredibly kind and helped me quickly select the perfect bite to eat — precisely what I needed after a long day. The property itself is beautiful and inviting — a perfect escape from the daily grind of city and suburban life around the Beltway. Now, about that bed — let’s just say I was instantly transported back to summer camp in the seventies “Bedrock”, lying on a mattress that felt exactly like the one under my sleeping bag back then. A little nostalgia is nice, but maybe not in the sleep department. If Lansdowne gets this one feature right, it’ll be the ultimate getaway spot. Until then, pack your sense of humor — and maybe a mattress topper."
