About The Hotel

Embassy Suites by Hilton Hampton Convention Center is a 4.0-rated (1,672 reviews) all-suite Hilton on Coliseum Drive directly at the Hampton Coliseum and Convention Center. Amenities include all-suite two-room layouts, an indoor pool, free cooked-to-order breakfast, complimentary evening reception with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, an EV charger, and pet-friendly rooms. Cleanliness (4.2), location (4.5) and rooms (4.2) subratings run steady across a large review base. A brand Hilton all-suite pool hotel rather than an in-room-jacuzzi property — the appeal is a Coliseum-adjacent all-suite base for conventions and family stays with Hilton Honors loyalty. Reviewer flags focus on paid parking ($13.50 reported), some elevator-adjacent room noise, and isolated housekeeping issues.

What Guests Are Saying

“The location was very convenient on a strip with restaurants and things for kids to do. It was also very relaxing with a cocktail hour anda hors d’oeuvre bar, which is very convenient if you want to unwind before going to your room also if you need to do any work the rooms have all you need .. I find it a very good area to work in .. the cleanliness is definitely top-tier and the fact that they have a printing system downstairs so that you can make copies or do anything you needfor work and overall great atmosphere of work or play” — Voyager43808160795, 5 stars

“Great hotel at an ideal location. This Embassy is a covered walkway away from the Hampton Convention Center so if you are in town for an event there - or even at the Coliseum, you have picked the right hotel. I have always liked Embassy for the way they designed their lobby interior and for the wonderful breakfast they have each morning.” — chris K., 5 stars

“Distiney at the vallet was so very helpful. She saved the day for me be helping me checkin with the parking. The parking wasn’t sending the code to my phone for some reason, so Distiney even used her own phone to help me check in. She was so friendly and helpful.” — Stephen A., 5 stars

"Went here for a wrestling tournament at the Hampton Coliseum. We were right around everything we needed in terms of food or shopping. A great location for anything at the coliseum. The staff were amazing and the check in was fast/easy. The room was perfect with a 2 queen suite with a living room. Also, not many hotels have a continental breakfast with chefs that prepare delicious omelette options. We will be back!"

"What a great experience! Blessing checked us in late in the evening. She was so nice and friendly! The room was amazing, it had a separate living room type area and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast is free and they have an option of home made omelets and avocado toast. My only regret is that we only stayed for 1 night. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"My wife and I just finished our stay here, 2 nights, 12/13 through 12/15, and I dont often leave reviews but our stay here was special. The biggest reason was the incredible customer service from the entire staff. From the moment we arrived, everyone we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. When we arrived there was a huge line for check in, about 40 or more people but the front desk staff made check-in smooth and quickly got everybody through and into their rooms, the food and beverage team was attentive and upbeat, and the cleaning staff did a wonderful job keeping everything spotless while always greeting us with a smile. It felt like every team member cared about making our stay a great experience, and that level of consistency really stood out. It’s rare to find a place where every department delivers such high-quality service, but this location absolutely does. We felt well taken care of the entire time and left with nothing but positive impressions. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay paired with outstanding hospitality. I also want to give a special thank you to John, the food and beverage supervisor, he was awesome!"
