What Guests Are Saying

“A great Hampton Inn. Although right off the main street of town, it is quiet. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Very friendly and professional staff. Large, clean, modern decor. Wide hallways which are well lit. Breakfast more than adequate with many items to choose from including waffles, eggs, oatmeal, and yogurt. Complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby. Comfortable lounge areas to relax and eat. Nice views of the water with a small boardwalk outside. Room was very clean and spacious. Large bathroom, shower worked well. Microwave, safe, and refrigerator in room. Good sized indoor pool and hot tub. About a 10 min drive to the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge. The hotel is located directly next door to the Comfort Suites hotel which is also on the water.” — TravelDeer, 5 stars

“I’ve been a Hilton Honors member for over 20 years and I visited this location with my family. This was a clean, modern hotel with great access to the heart of Chincoteague. Free parking, easy to find, great views of the water and friendly staff all contributed to a memorable stay. There is an indoor pool and fitness center which we enjoyed. The rooms are clean and spacious but we all agreed the showers could use more water pressure. Take advantage of the spacious lobby or outside deck to enjoy meals, relax or just to take in the view.” — Tammy T., 5 stars

"We stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites Chincoteague–Waterfront for two nights for a short weekend getaway to visit Assateague Island and see the wild ponies. It was a great experience. The front desk staff were very kind, welcoming, and informative. Visiting on a weekend was perfect since all the shops and restaurants on the island were open. We booked a waterfront whirlpool room, which was spacious, clean, and had an amazing balcony view. We didn’t use the pool, but we did enjoy the breakfast. After visiting the ponies, there was plenty nearby to walk around and explore. There’s also a dollar store conveniently located on the way to the National Seashore. Parking here at the hotel was plentiful. The hotel was bright and clean throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the back of the hotel, where you can walk out from the breakfast area and puts you right on the water. The view is beautiful. I would definitely recommend for a relaxing weekend stay."

"My husband and I had a fantastic 5-night stay at this hotel for our first time in Chincoteague. The view from this hotel was spectacular overlooking the waterway, and it was within walking distance of the shops and restaurants. The staff's exceptional service truly stood out from check-in to check-out. I want to give a special note of recognition to a hardworking woman named Teeny, she was our guest room attendant who has been with the hotel for 23 years! Her dedication and outstanding customer service are a testament to her professionalism and long-term care of this hotel. She went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, and her warm, welcoming demeanor made our stay even more enjoyable. Teeny is a true asset to your team and deserves to be recognized for her incredible work. It is my sincere hope that her extraordinary efforts and invaluable contributions are recognized and rewarded with the compensation she has so clearly earned!"
