What Guests Are Saying

“We were lucky to enjoy three beautiful weather days on the island. A first! Room 229 was outstanding. Great view from the balcony. Large room, clean, and quiet area of hotel. Facility was excellent and well maintained. Team were friendly throughout property. Breakfast service team, in particular, were very nice, positive, and helpful. First time on this property and will come again. Took a boat tour of island which was fun and informative. Saw a bunch of wild horses. Beaches were beautiful and easily assessable. One day pass was $10 on Assateague and we went down a couple times a day. For anyone reading this something we learned….Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday some of the local restaurants are closed so plan dinner locations ahead if there is somewhere specific you wanna dine. I didn’t catch the closed days and missed trying one I wanted to visit.” — CLSZ C., 5 stars

“Best part of our stay were the breakfasts. One hostess, Leivy, made breakfast time outstanding. So kind and accommodating. You can’t help but smile when she smiles. Only 1 downside to the hotel was 1 elevator. Hotel was within walking distance to several restaurants and shops. Rooms and dining areas were clean. Hotel staff were courteous.” — Phillip W., 5 stars

“We went to Chincoteague to see the wild ponies but after checking into our room & seeing the view of the Bay & so many water fowl varieties we spent more time sitting on the balcony of our room relaxing & taking in the beautiful scenery. This was the most relaxing vacation Hotel we’ve ever been in.” — rtwhittemore, 5 stars

"The hubby and I ran away for a weekend. What a fantastic area, even in the off season. Deanna started our trip with a late night check in including a complimentary list of yummy eats, a smile, and a warm welcome. With so many food choices, Christina helped us narrow it down the next day and boy was she spot on. The room was clean, modern and updated, warm and cozy, and the balcony view was beautiful. We had a small pond next to us and the family of ducks were a pleasant and fun addition. The breakfast varied each day and was delicious. The coffe was great! The pool and hot tub were very clean and we enjoyed both throughout the trip. The staff were all kind, generous, and helpful at any point of the day. Definitely a 5 star for us. Sidenote recommendations: Famous Pizza for lumch, we enjoyed the spicy italian pizza and crab poppers, delicious. Steamers for dinner, we enjoyed the seafood skins, island crab soup, and triple dream (?). Delicious!"

"This is not only the nicest Comfort Inn that I’ve stayed, it also had the best view over the bay for fantastic sunsets. Everything up-to-date and very clean. I like that they serve breakfast later than most places (11:00 a.m.). Hotels usual cut it off around 9/930, which isn’t good for people who like to sleep in on vacation or a getaway. I highly recommend this hotel, conveniently located as well."

"Phenomenal staff, great location, quiet rooms, good price! We stayed in an accessible room and had a very easy time. The elevator to our floor was always quick, both entrances to the hotel have long wheelchair ramps, the shower was super accessible, with no lip/step at all & a large fold down seat, and the breakfast staff always gave me a tray so that I could more easily manage the breakfast buffet food/drinks. A+ for accessibility needs."
