Omni Charlottesville Hotel
"4.4-rated Omni at the foot of the Downtown Mall with pools, a shared hot tub and a 4.9 location score."
About The Hotel
Omni Charlottesville Hotel is a 4.4-rated (2,338 reviews) marquee at the foot of the pedestrian Historic Downtown Mall, with a near-perfect location score (4.9) and one of the best downtown addresses in Virginia. The property runs indoor and outdoor pools with a shared hot tub reviewers praise as a nice soak, a bar, patio, EV charging and family-friendly programming including kids-stay-free and crib rentals. Not an in-room-jacuzzi property — the tub here is the shared one at the pool — but the top pool-and-shared-hot-tub base in Charlottesville. Reviewer praise centers on the pool complex, the family-friendly service and the Downtown Mall location; the softer note is value (4.1) in a college-town rate environment.
What Guests Are Saying
“This hotel was wonderful with our toddler. Super convenient with a stroller off the mall and close to everything. They provided a sturdy and clean metal rolling crib upon request with sheet. They also gave us an adorable boat tote with zipper that said Omni kids and was full of crayons and colored pencils and activities. It was really a hit and our toddler still uses it daily at home! The lobby and atrium was large and great for meeting friends or grabbing a drink or snack. There is also a few display cases which contain gift shop items for purchase which was very convenient and handy for buying gifts to bring to friends (they also provide a gift bag). We would love to return again!” — onlyhearts, 5 stars
“I stayed at this hotel for business and brought along my 5 year old son and my mom. We had a wonderful experience! The hotel is beautiful and clean. The staff were extremely warm and welcoming. Great location with short walks to nearby restaurants, however we mostly ate at the hotel and the food was quite good. My 5 year old loved the food and it was very reasonably priced, especially for the quality and portion sizes. The indoor pool was perfect for us too. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.” — Ashley P., 5 stars
“The Omni Hotel was perfectly located on the Downtown Mall. As soon as you step out of the bar/lobby area, you are right on the mall. The large bar/lobby area was just lovely and a perfect place to have a glass of wine before heading out. The staff couldn’t have been nicer. We have an electric vehicle and the overnight charging station was so convenient. Would definitely stay here again if in Charlottesville, and I have recommended it to many of my friends.” — Nanette714, 5 stars

"We stayed on property with family / friends for our wedding at a different venue outside the city. Overall the experience was great. I think the bed could be more comfortable but we didn't spend a lot of time in the room. I never even connected to the wifi. The hotel lobby / bar and lounge is where this hotel really excels. A great focal point, great spot to meet your party, grab a drink, get some food etc. Breakfast although expensive had very good service from our waiter and a great selection. I think the bed could be better but that's preference. Too squishy for me but I sleep better on a firm mattress. The comforter seemed like a real comforter not just a random quilt with a sheet. Looking at dates they really love to get you on price on that Saturday night where its sometimes double the other nights. The hotel is connected to a walking mall of restaurants and shops, easy to walk to other locations for meals and explore. Great experience, classier hotel than all the others surrounding it."

View on Google"Excellent hotel in Charlottesville, Virginia with amazing views! I stayed here earlier last month when in town for work and now a little vacay. Room was clean, had adequate storage and working space, and the bathroom has perfect water pressure and temperature. I also enjoyed the gym on both days, and spent some time unwinding in the lobby area. I had the best view from my room! The Blue Ridge Mountains were breathtaking during sunrise! I suggest you book the executive suites. You won’t regret it! I will be so happy to return. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!"

View on Google"We had such a great experience staying at the Omni Charlottesville! The hotel has been updated and has the most incredible open-air lobby/atrium space. What made this stay especially memorable for me is the staff that cares. One team member from the front desk and room service team truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable after a long day working a wedding - special shoutout to Warren from Room Service, who went above and beyond to make sure we got a hot meal late in the evening when most options were going to be closed. His kindness and attention to detail meant so much to us and will truly never be forgotten! The hotel itself is clean, spacious, and very well maintained! The breakfast staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming each morning, which made starting the day feel relaxed and cheerful. We had a lot to load into our car multiple days in a row and the bell staff were right on it every time. The coffee bar has great lattes and they offer non-dairy options for those that need it. The lobby and dining area are open and inviting, and everything was spotless throughout our stay! If you're visiting Charlottesville and looking for a hotel with top-notch service, clean and comfortable accommodations, and a central location, the Omni is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!"
