What Guests Are Saying
“This hotel is very special to us, because we spent our wedding night here 45 years ago! We also spent the night here after our 25th anniversary party, which we had at the Mount Vernon Inn. It used to be called the Holiday Inn Old Town when we were here 45 years ago. This time we were here for a wedding reception. We first had cocktails in the outdoor courtyard for an hour, then went inside to a private room for a delicious dinner and very good service. The location is absolutely perfect, the rooms are huge, and the hospitality at front at the front desk is first rate. Parking is a little tricky in the underground garage, because the ceilings are low and you were worried you won’t find a parking spot! But we did! Love, the fact that La Madeleine is literally the next building across the street!” — Grice-Fearing, 5 stars
“We had a wonderful holiday return stay at The Alexandrian and truly felt right at home. Sam, the general manager, and his entire team go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. Our suite was fantastic, Chef Victor sent an incredible platter of fruits and desserts, and Sam surprised us with a bottle of wine upon arrival. From the front door to the front desk, the staff is exceptional. We’re already looking forward to our next visit in the spring. — Dr. Eileen Fontanetta & Rob Byrne” — rob B., 5 stars
“There are lots of little shops, boutiques, as well as well known stores. Plenty of restaurants and small bars all along the prominent King St. and the harbor. So much to walk through and see. A beautiful historic town.” — Kati123456789, 5 stars

What guests are saying about The Alexandrian Old Town Alexandria.
"I took my wife here the day after Christmas for two special days, got a Jacuzzi room. The Jacuzzi was amazing. I loved everything about the room; we even had robes. My wife loved them. We had a balcony overlooking the center of the place, which was really neat. The Hotel had a nice restaurant and cool-looking art. The staff was very friendly, which made us feel welcomed and appreciated, and King St. was a nice place to find anything, making it easy to enjoy our stay. I look forward to another visit. It was very costly but worth every penny, which makes me confident it's a good investment for a memorable stay."
